Food was amazing. The meat and beans were well seasoned, the plate was reasonably priced. It was a little odd to have to ask for tortillas with a plate like Huevos con Picadillo, our server struggled to hear us and everything we ordered seemed to have a mistake because she couldn't hear us (or maybe we couldn't hear her?) The room was loud when we first arrived, half way through Sunday brunch live music started, which made conversation at our table and with the server even more difficult. The staff were professional and very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great spot worth a try.

The decorations are nice- Vibrant and colorful decorations and whimsical art pieces, however, I noticed my booth was falling apart and a piece of the furniture was hanging off. I ordered a margarita and I’m pretty sure it was the worst margarita I’ve ever had. It was basically watered down sweet and sour with undetectable alcohol. Next came the Gordita plate and I couldn’t believe how sour the masa was. I’m essentially writing this review in case I get sick from food poisoning, I’ll have something on record to back it up. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

First impressions are that the inside of Cantina La Coa is inviting. They have excellent chips and flavorful and spicy salsa options as well as great happy hour drink specials served in cantaritos (clay mugs)! SO cute! My Paloma was really good. I had to do my best not to drink it all right away!I ordered the Gordita plate and was pleasantly surprised that I could mix and match them so I ordered one of each (ground beef with potato, red and green chile). I don't have a bad thing to say about Cantina La Coa. My meal was top notch. They also serve all day breakfast and host a mariachi band on Friday nights.

Awful service I ordered the ribeye steak $19.00 I asked for it to be medium rare and what I got was a cold small burger size over done steak that I had to warm up with the piping hot potato. the waitress looked like they are under aged slave girls working to make a borderline living wage. I waited for the food almost an hour as I was watching everyone else being served at a fast pace and I was so hungry and the waitress didn't even notice my empty beer mug and when finally she noticed my empty mug she asked me if I wanted a refill and when I got the refill I noticed that the mug shrunk to a baby size mug feeling embarrassed and insulted I asked her to please refill me with the large mug. They seemed to cater to the frequent customers and place them at a undivided attention that in my opinion seems suspicious to say the least will not go back and do not waste your money or time

This place is average at best. The other location of Mesa has better food. The food is pricey for what it is. Everything lacked salt/seasoning. Also the location is weird being connected to a motel with windows looking out to the pool area.

I give this place a 10/10! We had a surprise birthday party for my friend, and the hostess was so sweet she helped us decorate. The food was amazing, and so was the service. Please check it out! You won't regret it. :)

We sat there for about 15 min. No one would even acknowledge or ask us for our drinks. Finally they asked us and never came back. Just got up and

I have usually like the food here, but I have noticed that the quality has gone down tremendously. Last weekend we bought two burritos which were super salty. We decided to give this restaurant a try again this weekend. We went in instead and got two burritos. We had asked for beans and eggs instead, they brought mostly potato burritos. When we went in, we were the only clients in there and this was around 9 AM on a Saturday and still the service was super slow.

Dont do it. Got the arrachera. Meat to salty,, onions undercooked, guacamole tasteless. Monday is arracera special you think they would be on their game. DON'T Do IT.

My wife and I ordered the parrilla that came with the grilled chicken and fajitas. They were well seasoned and grilled to perfection! The plate came with queso fundidio with chorizo and the beans/ brith was incredibly savory and delectable. The drink we order included a mango margarita with chamoy that hit the spot on a warm day. Our server was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We are certainly going back to take visiting family members.

Waited a little over a hour to get served. I ordered chicken enchiladas and the chicken was dry, the tortillas were hard and the beans were room temperature. My husband ordered a burger and that took 15 minutes longer to arrive our table. I also order chicken soup and that had a little too much salt. On top of that they charged us 3% for paying with card. Cant say we'll return.

This is a cute little place with your typical cantina decor. It has family casual seating with a view of the hotel pool next door and also has a little bar area with outdoor seating. Our waitress didn't have the best English but was extremely nice and we got everything we asked for! The food was very good and had great flavor, overall I was happy with our breakfast!I would also like to add I'm not sure if these two businesses are combined or rebranding, the sign outside said good coffee but the menu said Cantina la coa
