I came here to pick up some chicken for a Memorial Day BBQ and received world class customer service from the entire staff. This was my first time here so I will be honest I was lost but everyone was really nice and helped me out. I will be coming here from now on when I come visit my family from Alaska.

Everyone was nice and understood what type of meat I needed to cook for my dish. The store also has tortillas and veggies for Mexican dishes. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Would not recommend this place even though the food was ok. Rude and very poor customer service. Items are not priced and when asked for pricing none of the 3 persons present knew or were willing to assist. Their prices were inconsistent and appeared to me that the reason behind items not priced is to charge as desired. They charged me twice for a product and also charged a non disclosed and not authorized fee.

They should train their employees better when it comes to answering the phone, very bad customer service. The Guy who is in LA ESTRELLA on Red and resler has better manners than you.

Was looking for some Beef Ribs that were single and separated to smoke (Costilla De Res). There were some in the case. The butcher offered to cut me some to my exact specifications. I’ve been to several meat markets in the city. This is most certainly one of the best. Will definitely make this place top of my list!

I visited this place and had a great experience! Miguel, Jose, and Leslie provided outstanding customer service. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The food was fantastic, especially the menudo and burritos—full of flavor and cooked to perfection, and also ordered some meat for the carne asada.

Highly recommend this spot for great food and exceptional service. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent service always...

I bought meat at La Estrella and it was rotten, causing severe food poisoning. When I complained, when I asked to speak to the owner they said the meat was fine and mockingly mentioned that the owner had died two days ago. They offered no solution or refund. Beware when buying here.

Not today Good! I called and no one answered
I want to know if they still had a lot... I went to the store and no one said hello, I asked for 2 burritos, one with a BBQ and the girl told me the barbecue was finished at 10 am... and when I paid, a lady arrived and asked for a barbecue and they told her. It was cold and I ordered a green Chile burrito, I got home and they didn't give me the burrito ?

Mesa Street and Festival
We need Luis with Roco here.
The new girls are not well trained for anything.
You need to stand in line to buy Menudo because a lot of people don't even let you stop by to buy ?
And do it more often on the weekends because by 9 am there are no more.
Thank you for your time. My Favorite Butcher Shop.

If you guys love soggy burritos this is the spot! ? your burrito will get soggy the moment they put they start to stuff it GUARANTEED! Never fails and honestly doesn’t matter what type you get either cause they all get soggy! It’s the best :) eating a soggy burrito you can’t hold, have to tears part, use utensils, it’s THE BEST! Just stay away from breakfast burritos, yuck, those don’t get soggy at all like what? You’re telling me I have to hold my burrito properly to eat it?
