Slow service, food delivered without silver wear or napkins. After 7 minutes of waiting for silverware and napkins while our food just sat there on the table, I finally got up and asked for it at the bar. Amateur hour for sure when it comes to service. It's a shame, similar reviews mention the same thing. Better leadership and management for sure.

Gorgeous views, mediocre drinks but didn't really expect anything that great as it is a hotel roof top bar but lord I was shorted in the most shady manner - I was only handed a limited menu and ordered a very mediocre off menu glass of Cabernet and was told that there were only three reds, one which the server hyped and ended up with a $30 charge, absolutely the most expensive glass of wine I've ever drank in any establishment and when I questioned the price, I was told to double check the downstairs menu which actually was $10 cheaper than what I was charged. Waiter was shady for not disclosing the fact that there were multiple sized pours and the fact that the one he poured me was a $30 glass. Shady. The hosts were wonderful. But train your employees. I don't think the kid was even trying to be shady, simply wasn't trained well enough. It's not that hard to take informed orders... Don't be shady. It's really a terrible terrible vibe. A sour on what was otherwise a wonderful evening.

Came here on a whim on a Wednesday during the early evening and could not have been more pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality of drinks, service, and view. Drinks cost what you can expect at a nice bar and their house cocktails are worth ordering (crown jewel). If it’s chilly out, they have warm gas fire pits and blankets at request. If you’re passing through or want a romantic evening out, I think it’s worth seeing if you can snag a spot- or make reservations if you’re one to plan ahead!

Was staying in the hotel and tried to go up
for a drink, it was so terrible we ended up leaving. Cant speak to the quality of the drinks but the vibes were very bad. It was a chilly night and it’s all outdoors with no heaters. Seats weren’t particularly comfortable and they had a DJ playing way too loud music for a fairly intimate space. There’s not really much of a view unless you look over the edge. Overall not worth it.

Had a reservation indoors, but they closed due to rain. They called and confirmed the reservation an hour or two before and there was no more rain. Why they closed and Why the little rain impacts the indoor seating area is beyond me.
East terrace is best kept secret in El Paso. We love bringing visitors to El Paso to La Perla for the great views and cocktails. Please don't hesitate to support this fantastic bar.

Drinks were great, had the meat and cheese tray which was okay. Just expect to wait a long time for your drinks and water. It wasn't busy, multiple empty seats but waitress claims it was busy. Waitress visits every table asking who ordered what drinks because they can't remember. Not worth it

I was there on Saturday and it took them more than an hour to serve us. In fact, another table next to us left because it was never attended to. very nice place but terrible service

Worst service we’ve ever received at any bar. Took 3 hours to get two rounds of drinks and an appetizer - all of which we basically had to beg for because part of the order was forgotten or delayed. Only pro about this place is that the bartender makes good drinks - just expect to wait a long time to get them (too many guests for one waitress).

Bartender Ally,I hope I spelled correctly. 10/10, will be back.
Dropped by here on a whim after dinner downtown. Great and unique experience. Definitely will get there earlier as they have two terraces- the north terrace has the best views of the sunset and mountains but the east terrace gave us a nice view of downtown. The bartender was fantastic and knowledgeable. Prices were steep but you are paying for the view and reasonable for an upscale cocktail bar

Open Table confirmed our reservation for Sunday April 14, 2024 at 6:30 pm. It turned out that the restaurant is not open Sunday nights! We were visiting from New England and had made the reservation on March 5th. We had anticipated the rooftop sunset view. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Open Table and La Perla !!!!
Great view and while the food choices are quite limited, the amounts were generous and did the trick. The service was great; however our server was running tables alone and could have used some support.
