The masa is one of the best in El Paso, but make sure they weight the masa in front of you because they have not been honest about it. Last time, I was short by 1/2 lbs.. in a 5 pound bag.. and almost 1 lb in my 10 lbs bag.

Very late service, like 27 people in line to buy tamales dough

They should have more staff for these dates, we last more than 2 hours online

The best masa for tamales can be found here. During the holidays, come early and be prepared to stand in line. We waited an hour in line. Cash only!

Terrible customer service, one calls to ask for information and they hang up the phone, very rude staff

The dough for tamales is made with mothers. Good price and good customer service. Maybe because I am from the years when people paid with cash - trash. Standing in line is something that one must be prepared for when the product is good and especially at Christmas time. Last year it just froze and didn't reach the dough because it wasn't prepared. Put on divers and remember the hours. 7am -1pm. Merry Christmas to all

Only tried the Chile con Queso tamales (Rajas?)… very good BUT- they didn’t have anything else at 7:15am and went back a couple of days later at 7:20am and the line was so long- I left fearing the wait and the stock that they may or may not have…Too bad- a business that had this kind of loyalty and product should have their production together after 70 years in business?…

(Translated by Google) Before they closed at 3 then at 2 then at 1?? I go with the hope of buying tortillas for some flutes and take it, there are no tortillas anymore. It is time to choose another tortilla shop.(Original)Antes cerraban a las 3 luego a las 2 luego ya a la 1?? Voy con la esperanza de comprar tortillas para unas flautitas y tòmala, ya no hay tortillas. Es tiempo de escojer otra tortilleria.

First time here. Waited 3 hours for tamales. Haven't tasted them yet, hopefully it was worth the wait in line. Personal very friendly.
Tamales are the best they need to getore organized I've gone twice this week and only a few ppl bought tamales and the owner comes and says 2 more hours what the heck. Then we all waited and with 5 ppl ahead of me he says there are gone. Bull they need to make more quantity early morning. Very disappointing never had they done this.

Great place, regular corn tortillas and ones especially made for flautas. This time I bought unprepared masa for tamales.Parking lot is in the back of the building, and you do have to edit through a small patch of dirt road.Good masa, always our go to place

They have great quality maza for the tamales. However, the fact that they only take cash is very inconvenient. The least they can do is take cashapp or venmo but waiting outside in the cold only to be told cash only is not right especially when they know their quality. If they are going to have people wait in the cold they can at least accept card transactions. Or at least provide ATM inside the establishment.

This place has the best tamales I’ve had in the 915. The tostadas, tortillas, and taco shells are DELICIOUS and priced well.

Best tamales in town , hands down. They close at 1 so call ahead of time and they'll have them ready. Cash and check only.
