Valentinas Restaurant 425 S Oregon St. El Paso, TX 79901 (915) 545-4906 Food was OK, but I witnessed the WORST case of OVERT RACISM that I have ever seen in El Paso. We were sitting down waiting for our food to come and noticed an African American man come into the restaurant and sit down. We received our food and were halfway done when the man asked why he had not been attended to. At least 10-15 minutes (we were almost done with our food and he came in before we got it. That is when the elderly Hispanic woman(whom I later came to find out that she was the owner) started to tell him off and to leave. That is when I really started to pay attention! I definitely heard her call him a "medio hombre" which means a half-man. Then as she was walking to the back said "Pinche Negro" twice! In Mexico, pinche is an all-purpose insult enhancer, which would be roughly equivalent to the use of *fu%#^&@* in English. It's also used as an adjective to describe something as insignificant, lousy, miserable or worthless. (Urban Dictionary). I said "Really? She used the word Pinche Negro and Medio Hombre" to her son. This gentleman then tried explaining to her son that he only wanted to get some food and was denied service, which I believe was based completely on the color of his skin. He was cleanly dressed and spoke appropriately. We voiced our objection to the son and immediately walked out to pay and say something to the son again and all he did was shrug his shoulders. Definitely, NO TIP and a big ten thumbs down. Will never return. Posting elsewhere also Also sent this to the Commanding General at Fort Bliss.

I ordered a Mexican hamburger. It was good nothing however the they put a lot of bacon. The restuarant was clean.

Had the gorditas de picadillo, caldo, and barbacoa tacos. All of them tasted as if they were made in abuelas kitchen. I will be back.

I just ate lunch here the people are very nice the quality of the food is supreme. I had the steak tacos I had the steak tacos. I will eat here again next time I'm in the area!! (Tomorrow!)

I enjoyed the food more than I expected! I had the mushrooms chips, guacamole, and veggies tacos. Amazing!!!! I’m so happy to find out they are now on Uber Eats for those lazy days when I don’t want to cook. Check them out ASAP!

The first time I came here with my fiancé, we had just had a horrible day. Couldn't make it to court due to an address misprint and had to walk in the horrible heat back home from the bus. We decided to stop by this restaurant and I'm glad we did, this place has some of the best Al Pastor tacos I've ever had and I highly recommend them.

The food is beyond cheap yet delicious! The staff is also awesome! And by that I mean, they come ask you for your order bring your food (they're polite) and leave you alone and don't bug you haha. You actually get to enjoy your food and not get asked every 5mins if you need something. Anyway, if you haven't been here, GO! Get up right meow and visit them.
