Unfortunately the service and the food was disappointing, I was left unattended for quite a while, heard good things from close friends too bad it didn’t live up to the expectations.

The Shrimp Cocktail was delicious 😋
I would say green aguachiles are the specialty of Lapa Lapa, but I would be lying to you because all of their dishes are simply delicious; well prepared with meticulous care, professionalism and lots of TLC (tender loving care). Customer Service and professionalism is also well practiced by every single one of their employees, starting with the hosts, waitress and staff behind the curtains preparing all the delicious meals for their customers. The place is welcoming from the time you set foot inside the restaurant, atmosphere is family oriented and friendly. Thank You for the wonderful experience and consistency. Well done!!!

More than once have they messed up my to go order. I call to let them know and all they say it that manager has to call the owner and see if he can replace it or give you credit. And that they will call you back. Do they ? NO! This time I order a lapa moncajete and I got a quarter of a cup of ceviche😂
LAST TIME WE ORDER FROM HERE! THERES OTHER SEAFOOD PLACES IN THE WESTSIDE
The food was amazing!!! I live by the area and was intrigued by the unique name of the place: “Lapa Lapa.” I only ordered a lapa taco, just to try; however, it was delicious! It was also big enough to make me feel full and enjoy myself. I will definitely be coming back with my sons someday.
Camila the server was super sweet and fast with her service. She came to my table to ask how I was often and made sure that everything was to the most optimal condition. Lovely young lady!
Overall, my experience was amazing. It was super comfortable, and delightful. Everyone was super kind, including the chefs! I asked if I could personally send a message to the cook, and Camila was kind enough to oblige. While it was silly to do so, I felt truly changed by Lapa Lapa. My so-so day turned into a happy, peaceful evening! Thank you Lapa Lapa. I definitely recommend!

Twice now I’ve ordered pickup from Lapa Lapa, and twice they’ve kept me waiting outside for over 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. No heads-up, just silence while I sat there wondering what the point of pre-ordering even was.
Food might be decent, but the service is abysmal. If you value your time, or expect even a minimum level of respect as a customer, I suggest you go somewhere else. Lapa Lapa clearly doesn’t care.

Food Is pretty good. Been back multiple times. Service can be fast or not. Atmosphere is always very light and unassuming. There’s always people there.

Thanks, Carlos. Even though you know me, every time you serve us, you take the time to give us a warm greeting and make us feel important. Thank you because my son's and my meal were just as we ordered. As a mother, you appreciate it when you have children. Thank you for your attention!! 🙏

I decided to visit this restaurant since I was already in the area and had heard good things from friends. It was our first time dining here, and we ordered the LAPA sandwich and fish tacos for my kids. While the food was okay, the fish was greasier than expected and not quite worth the price, it wasn’t the worst part of our experience.
Unfortunately, the service was disappointing and truly affected our overall visit. Our server, Linda, took approximately 15 minutes just to greet us and ask for drink orders. I let her know we had brought our own water and were ready to place our order. She then took another 10 minutes to bring chips and salsa, which I didn’t mind too much at first, as I noticed she appeared to be chatting with people she knew and taking frequent breaks.
The food itself didn’t take long, but while we stepped away briefly to use the restroom, only my sandwich had been served when we returned, my kids’ meals arrived 15 minutes later, by which time I had already finished eating. During this time, I noticed Linda spending significant time talking and laughing with other tables, while we were still missing basic items like napkins and silverware. I eventually had to get up and take my toddlers to the bathroom just to find napkins.
Linda never came to check on us throughout the meal. When she finally did return, I asked to speak with the manager , only to find out she was the manager herself. I expressed my concerns about the delayed service, the missing items, and the overall inattentiveness. Rather than taking responsibility, she gave excuses about having a long day and being busy with people she knew. I found this incredibly unprofessional, especially coming from someone in a leadership position.
I know how crucial customer service is and unfortunately, Linda did not represent the restaurant well. I paid for the food, but will not be returning, and I would strongly recommend a reassessment of management if the goal is to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This was the worst service I’ve experienced at any restaurant in El Paso.
