Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant & Bar

This resturant is really great! I highly recommend it. The servers name that hosted and served was Lucy! Lucy was very informative and knowledgeable! We didn’t know what to order and Lucy brought a tray of samples. I ordered a green chili and con carne and Alice ordered a combination plate. I also enjoy my tortillas toasted with freckles (perfect) She also mixes a great adult beverage. I highly recommend Lucy for your server.

If you’re looking for a great place to eat Mexican food, I strongly recommend Las Palmas Restaurant. Not only will they have an abundance of selection to choose from, but the ambience is far above any other. Through the years we have come to know the wait staff who add a personal touch to our visit each time. By name they are, Mia, Lalo, Isaiah, and Danika and the managers Mike and Rose. Oh, and did I mention, the food is very reasonably priced.

1st time experience here. After 9:30am on 9/20/25. Always heard hype about this restaurant & decided to see what it was about. It was less than steady for a Saturday. Got sat right away & noticed the table wobbly. Server came & took my order. I got horchata & large menudo.
Horchata was a 2 star . They need to mix it a bit before serving. The ice cubes had a freezer burn taste. They probably need to drain the machine & have fresh ice cubes

Menudo was a 2 star It was super spicy & when the team lead/management asked how everything was i mentioned. She stated that she noticed as well. Instead of trying to correct the issue, they just left.

Hard to eat on a wobbly table negative 1 star

Would i recommend or return? I'd have to give a serious thought

My family and I had a wonderful evening here. The service was warm and attentive, and the restaurant is spotless and very comfortable. It really felt like we were experiencing one of the things that makes El Paso so special: its food.

The chile Colorado was absolutely fantastic, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the queso with hatch green chiles, and it was spot on with just the right kick and so delicious.

Las Palmas has quickly become a must-go spot for me every time I am in town. Highly recommend!

I am from out of town and this restaurant was recommended by a very good friend of mine. The food and the atmosphere were excellent. Our waitress Terry was the best. She made great recommendations, checked on the table often and had a great energy.
