I did not know they had new owners. Gave them a second chance and found this out. Delicious!!!! Nice to have a spot like this here in Horizon. My go to breakfast is the La Abuela omelette. It is plenary of food and delicious. All the employees are courteous and nice. Thank you for serving great food.

It's good authentic mexican food, however there is no AC at all and it is super small so keep that in mind

Great food, not greasy, friendly owners

The food is absolutely on point! Delicious burritos, tortas; you name it. The service is amazing. Friendly courteous staff! One of our new favorite spots on Eastlake.

The food was very delicious. I tried the omelette a la mexicana con chorizo and it was very delicious. The service is also very good.

Definitely recommend this place! The service the employees give was great! You hardly see people greeting you like this nowadays. The food was good! The potatoes did not have a lot of flavor, but the quesadillas and tortas were good! Will definitely come back to try something different

So! We just moved back to TX from upstate NY, and let me tell you, after years of not having authentic mexican food... I ALMOST CRIED EATING THE BARBACOA TACOS!!! I'm from South, South, TX and they reminded me of home!!! If you're looking for yummy, soft barbacoa.. this is the place.

I extremely dislike when they advertise a price and they end up charging you more. That's not honesty and transparency. But anyways, the food is not good. It's too bland. And their service is too slow. I don't recommend this place. I'm glad Julio's opened already.

Just picked up my order from there for 3 Chicken Soups (Caldos de Pollo). Menu says 9.99 and total was $33.74 when in fact it should've been $32.44. Went back, and ask the person in charge and he stated that the prices were not actualized so he started changing the price with a pen. I know the difference is little but that's not the point. To me that is FALSE ADVERTISIMENT and by the way did not get any money back!

To top it off, when I get to the car I noticed that they did not include the rice......?

BEWARE OF YOUR BILL WITH THIS BUSINESS PEOPLE!....?....and Horizon City businesses are getting worse and worse using this kind of moves!

RESPONSE TO THE OWNER COMMENT:......Then if that is the case, why did you changed the price manually with a pen on the menu when that was not the issue when from the very beginning you should have stated that?

If you want a homemade experience away from home, then this is your place. Food is flavorful and nice portions. The staff is quick, food hot of the stove, and they have the mexisodas that we all remember. Great place been here a couple time and it only gets better.

Vegetarian options: There is food or plates that are vegetarian if that is what you are looking good for.
