Still my favorite place when coming to El Paso I just like their food and the customer service is always good I get the menudo or the tacos dorados I know is a very old place and doesn't look nice but I really recommend this place you will not be disappointed

Great tacos, excellent service. The cook is right there in the front cooking the food for you. Located right off highway. There was a line outside so came back 2 hours later and got seated right away.

Confession time... I've never ate at Lucky Cafe before... until today. Located somewhere between UMC and Downtown on Alameda (I think)... is a local favorite. For as long as I can remember, I've heard their menudo is 2nd to none. Maybe another day, I test that theory. A good friend @elcamarojoe68 recommended it. And dude knows a think or two about food, I tell ya. He suggested the Lucky Burger, and you know I always go for the burger with the company's name on it. There was a double lucky, but after eating H&H right before, I don't think I would've been able to finish it. The service was really good here. Waitress's eye contact was stronger than other places. The bun was warm, buttery, crispy on the inside. Burger had mustard on the bottom with the LTOP. On top of that was a nice thin crispy fresh patty. Nicely seasoned. Nice share from the flat grill. Ham, bacon and weenies on top of that. I don't normally order hamburgers with ham and weenies, but this one hit different. Very similar taste to the H&H Carwash burger but with added flavors from the pork products. Nice touch. 8.8/10. My only knock was it was overly greasy from the butter, bacon and hamburger patty. I love grease as much as the next guy, but it was overly done. If you like overly greasy burgers, then this might be a 9.6/10 for you.

The food here is excellent!! I grew up in El Paso and now live in Houston and I can't find food like this in Houston. I had the chilaquiles, my husband had the machaca and my dad had the huevos rancheros. All of these were so delicious! The green salsa that they serve is fresh and adds the right seasoning to the meals. During Covid, this place is doing a great job with followings the guidelines, so we felt safe. I would highly recommend this place!

The price of food was fantastic. I paid less there for a massive burger, fries, and a Coke than I paid for a McFlurry, small fries, and a Coke @ McDonald's. The service was great and the vibe was authentic.

Visited by lunch time food was “terrible” too expensive for taste and price. Hamburger meat had a weird flavor, desebrada was cold, no salt nor flavor, chewy, tortilla was burned, coffee was without flavor. Service was worst, she hardly showed up to refill and attitude Marisol even told my mother when she paid and mentioned her about the service and food that “good... first and last time you come” and she is right never again.

went on early 3/1/20,,, and had the worst experience there for the first time in four years. A new young guy took our order,,, but then started to help the cook, with the orders, and didn't transfer our order to another server. it took an hour & 1/2 to get our orders, which this young guy cooked horribly,, asked who was in charge and our new server said no one now,, horrible service in the four years I've gone.

For the affordable price it’s the closest you can get to the Juarez/North Chihuahuan gastronomy without having to break the bank. The best part is that it is open 24/7 for breakfast/lunch/late night drunk food

Hands down they serve the best menudo in El Paso and Ciudad Juarez. The service is either so so or awful ,but I don't care because the menudo is that good!!
