Omar was our server for the evening, if possibleble request your reservation with him! Explained the dishes to us upon delivery! Very attentive without lingering, did a good job of keeping our beverages filled, and ensured we were comfortable and noticed during the entire night.
I used Mamacitas to host a birthday dinner! I had flowers delivered and they took great care of them, set us up in a nice two person table by the street, with a great view of the kitchen, it had a very cozy feel for a room full of others! Would recommend to anyone looking to have a great experience!

Our reservation was at 5:30 on a Saturday night. We sat at 5:40 we waited close to an hour after our food order was put in. The restaurant wasn't busy, our server kept forgetting my drink. He also forgot about us when we were trying to pay to leave. We didn't leave till 8:15 because we were waiting for him to cash us out. For the price and service I do not recommend.

Update: they released a new menu and the chef leveled everything up. One of the new appetizers, Tortitas de papas, was amazing. Great sauce, and a wonderful consistency. Then I tried the Salmon as an entree. As someone who doesn't really like fish, this dish was on a while level of it's own. Perfectly cooked with a great chipotle sauce and Brussel sprouts made in salsa Macha meant there was nice kick to this savory dish.
10/10 Would pig out again.

The food is great, but they really rush you out. After we finished our main course, they asked if we wanted the check; we politely said no. About 10 minutes later, our waitress came back asking if the checks would be together or separate. There were plenty of available tables and no one waiting. That’s the reason I’m giving a low review. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this restaurant. The wait for both food and basic service was extremely long, and the staff seemed inattentive throughout the visit. Drinks sat empty, and we had to flag someone down just to place an order. By the time the food arrived, the experience had already been overshadowed by the lack of attention and slow pace. There are too many places that offer better service and value.

Ended up downtown after a strenuous hike and was looking for a different vibe. Walking in this establishment was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and it didn't take long to get waited on. Alex, my server, offered many recommendations on light choices and popular drinks. This restaurant swaps out their menu based on the time of day, but some remain, if the customer ask. The whole experience was worth it and I will be going back to try another dish.

Right in the middle of downtown you’ll find this eye catching -rustic restaurant located inside Hotel Indigo. Absolutely gorgeous.
Gaining entry was a bit tricky , we walked around the building and tried every single door and all of them were locked … But eventually a guest in the restaurant pointed at us through the window to go through the hotel parking garage door to get in through the hotel. Once in , nothing but exceptional service .
Everything is open so you can see the bar & kitchen area chefs working their magic . Our waiter was very knowledgeable with vegan cuisine & let me know while their horchata isn’t listed as containing dairy - dairy is in the mix itself - he ending up making me a delicious Sandia Basil Watermelon Lime beverage .
I couldn’t wait to try the vegan pozole and ohhh man it was a great take on traditional pozole. I do wish it was a bit spicier but that’s personal preference, I enjoy heat. The mushroom taco was hearty and every bite had the right amount of crunch & texture .
The setting here alone is worth a visit . Very vibey & a perfect stop for brunch .
