Amazing place, can't recommend their homemade salsa and chips enough! Solid Menudo, and wonderful Mexican food in general. Homemade tea and lemonade make for a delicious "teamonade". My favorite dish is any of the "soupy tacos" they come in 4 different flavors, and you can't go wrong with any sauce on their homemade shredded beef or chicken flautas.
We were visiting family and they brought us to Mama's cause they love to eat there. My husband has Celiac disease and when I asked about shared fryers the owner was there and she stated that no flour or wheat products go into her fryers. They only things she said that was wheat based was flour tortillas and she only used those for a few dishes otherwise it was all corn based. We loved the food and my husband had no issues. The food was very tasty but I realized that the owners take the tip from the waitresses, I think it is not fair because the waitress does everything she can to serve us well to earn her tip
