For many years I had bought their products and recommended them, I don't know if they changed owners or they were simply not interested in looking good to their customers.A few weeks ago I called to order a cake and they told me to send them via email the type of cake I wanted and that they would call me to take the order, I waited for an hour and then I called them and they told me to wait 5 minutes and they would return me the call and they never called me.There are many businesses of this type in El Paso, this place is not the same and we can also support other local businesses that do give us the respect we deserve as customers since we are paying for a product, we are not asking for it for free.

Wow where do I start, the ladies at Manjar are super talented, was in town to celebrate a birthday and I was in charge of the cake. I walked in sowed Mrs. Rosie a picture of what I needed and when I picked up the cake it was exactly what I had asked for. The staff was super friendly and pleasant to work with. Not only was the cake beautiful it was delicious, it was very moist and tasty. Will definitely use Manjar for any cakes or treats that I send my friends and family.

A very helpful place. We ordered a beautiful birthday cake. It was ready to pick up as promised. The picture they showed me had gold leaf on it. The one received did not. I told them at the beginning that the gold leaf was a nice touch. The cake was expensive but I was after quality and looks, and I got just that. Thanks

This bakery has the BEST alfajores I've ever tasted. They are really the biggest highlight of this bakery. If you go, they are a must try.I recently ordered some buñuelos, I assume are seasonal, and they tasted great. They were also wrapped beautifully, with great detail. It was nice little presentation, especially because it was taken to a gathering. This bakery is pricey but I believe it is because the consistent taste and presentation.

Ordered a custom cake to celebrate my husband's 10 years of military service. They made a beautiful and DELICIOUS peanut butter chocolate cake. Fairly priced and they were very kind and helpful! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a custom cake.
Ordered a cake for our daughter’s birthday. Could not have been happier with the results! The customer service was great they called several times to confirm details and ask about preferences.. the cake was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked..

They have lost me as a loyal customer. Today, I went in to place a birthday cake order. I felt the person at the counter was dismissive and rude. The person ahead of me received better customer service for her order with a shorter turn around time. When it was my turn I was told that they couldn’t take my order which was on a later date, a Saturday (2 weeks away from event) at the end of the month and plainly said, “no” to my service request. With no further explanation. I then asked if they could help me with a birthday cake nothing specific on design and again the answer was “no.” I thought this was a reputable bakery and they could bake a simple birthday cake. Sadly, this was the place where my wedding cake was purchased and other orders for different special occasions. We have supported this business and would have expected better customer service. This was a clear sign that I should take my business elsewhere.

I've come here several times whether it be for cupcakes, brownies, baking accessories, edible glitters or molds. They have quite a selection of flavors for cupcakes and they're delicious! On one occasion I needed cupcakes last minute, I walked in and they had what I needed along with cute decorations to add on top. Cakes are pre-order. Last night I needed frosting asap, so I pulled in and got 2 lbs of frosting before they closed. The frosting was already in a piping bag! Super convenient. I will continue to come here and I highly recommend this spot for all your baking needs.
