Wanted to take my family out for a Sunday meal, and stumbled across this hidden gem! I got the aguachile and let me just say they were above my expectations! From the service to the food all 5 starts !! Don’t sleep on this place.

Mariscos y Garnachas La Chilanga is nestled in the right corner of the parking lot of the Bronco Swap meet. It is a family operation and on this particular day I had the pleasure of meeting Juan, who together with his family own the food truck. I was craving mariscos and decided to pay this place a visit after reading the many positive reviews and great photos of the food. Don't worry about seating, there are four tables available inside with plenty of A/C. Let me just say that overall, I was beyond impressed with the quality of the product. Who isn't hesitant to eating seafood in the West Texas desert? To drink, I had a very refreshing limonada that helped beat the heat. Juan brought out an amazing salsa with cilantro and roasted chiles. The salsa is ten times better than any Mexican restaurant with their typical red and green sauces. This was a refreshing change. I began by ordering a half dozen oysters and they were very fresh, plump and so damn good. I killed them in 3 minutes . Next, I had a tostada de camaron and again the freshness, and quality blew me away. The texture and flavor were a 10 all the way around. Next Juan brought out a caldo de pescado and camaron. The shrimp and fish were fresh and flavorful. It was served with rice, onion, and fresh toasted bread and butter. This place is hitting on all cylinders. The aguachiles negras were served for the grand finale. Flavorful and not overly spicy. They were perfect. I definitely ordered wayyyy too much food but I ate every damn thing. This place is such a hidden gem I encourage you to pay Juan a visit. Phenomenal food. Eat local.
Ps. Don't sleep on their homemade sauces!

First time here and I was pleasantly surprised, my order was to go they had properly packaged items, emphasizing flavor and convenience. The shrimp tostada was one of the best tasting tostada I've ever had, very fresh ingredients. A must try spot for seafood.

Been wanting to try this food truck and it didn’t not disappoint there aguachiles verdes where really good. And the black aguachiles were good too.the prices are reasonable as well. I wanted to try there burgers but at that time they didn’t have them. So gonna have to wait for that. But other than that good place to try. Very good flavor on there aguachiles🤤❤️

First time here and we’re absolutely in love with this place! We got the mango verde aguachiles, California roll sushi and shrimp cocktail. Everything is fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.
