I agree the bread wasn't enticing. Use to make the trip from far east for the delicious cookies with the drizzle topping, which they no longer have. Very disappointed they were the best!

Every time I’m in town visiting family.. I make the drive here.. Great all the way around.. if you’re in town or live near by you must try it ..

Haven't been to modelo bakery in about 2 yrs walked in and saw they remodeled it. Looks nice. Modern. Waited a couple of minutes to be attended. Used to come here for the small cookies that have that chocolate and strawberry drizzle on top they r known for these but to my dissapointment they didn't have any small ones just in a huge cookie got 4 of them and they were hard threw the other 3 away. I also got 5 conchas my favorite sweet bread the way they make it there No bread was yellow inside (its usually white) and very dry wouldnt even soak up my milk or coffee. Just threw all the sweet bread away. The verde burrito is good but no salsa is given..I wont be returning here..very dissapointed.
