Very sad this place had to close. The food was delicious and you would never guess it was vegan! I look forward to any future projects in store for Chef Roman!

Arrived at 1PM on Friday and it wasn’t open. No sign indicating that they weren’t open or why. Just a locked door.

I'm a meat lover and these were the best steak tacos I've ever had. Hard to believe it wasn't steak! (It's all vegetarian). Great presentation. Great taste! A hidden gem!

Love this place. We come here every so often. They are one of the only exclusive vegan establishments in El Paso, and they are non profit! They grow their own veggies/fruits, and their food is so yummy. They create special menu items on a weekly basis. The staff are super nice and friendly. Prices are very fair ! Would recommend this place to anyone.Vegetarian options: Vegan menu entirely

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at One Grub Community. The meals were made to perfection and the head chef and co-owner :greeted us with our orders. Wonderful location! They also provide meals for underserved which I support! Support local!

One Grub Community Diner is a gift to the community and to vegans in El Paso. We were lucky enough to catch their limited edition macaroni and cheese bowl, and I've never had better vegan or nonvegan Mac & cheese. It was covered in incredible farm fresh veggies and their vegan cheese is perfect. We also have had their waffles, take-home vegan queso, and menudo. Everything is lovingly made, uses incredibly fresh ingredients, and will make you rethink what vegan food can taste like. Add in their Saturday mercadito, the pay-it-forward meal program for the community, their garden and the role they play in helping people living in a food desert learn how to cook and grow their own food and One Grub is an absolute treasure.

This was the best vegan food I’ve ever had. Great menu options, tons of flavor. I had the Milanesa torta and it was out of this world. The vegan queso was so amazing, better than any regular queso I’ve had. My friends had the tacos and the nachos and we all talked about how amazing our meals were for hours after we left. Definitely telling everyone about this place and I’ll be going back again and again.

Their pay it forward program is enough for the five star review, and when you add to that their service and amazing food, five stars don’t feel like enough. Chef Roman and his wife are incredibly approachable, especially considering how far they have come from the days when we used to buy their queso out of their house and we were welcomed by the dog Bones, if I remember his name correctly. Roman will not hesitate to guide new vegans in the transition to the lifestyle. He was an incredible help when I first made the switch. Their queso kept me alive during the first two weeks ? Pictured in my review are some of our favorite items (grilled cheese, migas, smothered bomb-burrito, torta, milanesa strips, etc) some of them have a chunk or two missing because we couldn’t help ourselves to taste them before snapping the picture. There’s an important item missing which is their berries and nopales smoothie. My daughter will chug that immediately, and that is why a picture of it does not exist.

This is our (my wife, myself, and Mom) go-to place in our visits to El Paso! I would have never believed that the best vegan food would be located in my hometown. Although the food is terrific, the staff is what makes the experience above and beyond. They are attentive and friendly, and they remembered us from our visit to El Paso two months prior! My mom is vegan when she is with us, and she asks to go here every time. She is 73 and thinks it's great how they treat her so graciously. I can not say enough about this place and all they do for the community as well. You all are the best!
