Park Tavern has excellent food. The service wasnt as good as other visits thst ive had there. Still highly recommend
Had a birthday celebration here. The service was great!! The atmosphere was delightful and overall we enjoyed ourselves. The food, however, was meh. Everything seemed over-spiced-to include the green beans? Overall, it was ok
Sweet hostess that payiently waited for us to choose bar, indoor or patio seating. Great bartender. Great kitchen. The prime rib dip was soft with a strong home-made bread. I liked that I was able to sub a soup or a salad for my fries. No complaints. Oh, there are 2 video monitors to watch sports in the bar!
Another great dinner date with great food and excellent service!! Kudos to the Park Tavern personnel!!
The night started off well. The staff was very attentive and our appetizer and drinks were brought up pretty quickly. Took a little bit longer for the entrées. But then our waitress completely forgot about us. We waited very long for her to come and offer dessert. And at that point, we were just frustrated and decided to Leave instead. Portions are a bit small for what you're paying. Food is OK but nothing to rave about. Especially for the price.
I'm a very picky person when it comes to restaurants. I have to say this restaurant was one of the best in El Paso. The food was a 10 out of 10 and the cocktails were a 10 out of 10 and the service was a 10 out of 10. I couldn't believe how fast they were serving us. Highly recommend.
We were impressed by the place upon arrival. Nice decor, pleasant background music. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server, Aaron. He made some very good drink suggestions, my wife had a Hibiscus Margarita, which was excellent, and I had a Berry Mojito, which could have used some more muddling to break down the berries. While waiting for our entrees, we had the Focaccia appetizer, which was excellent. For our entrees, my wife had the Grilled Halibut accompanied by Broccolini and Lemon Orzo. The fish was a bit dry, but the pico with grilled shishito peppers and peaches definitely made up for it, as well as the sides, which were top notch. I had the filet (medium-rare), which came out perfectly cooked. The grilled asparagus could have used maybe a minute or two of blanching before grilling, as it was pretty close to raw. The mashed potatoes were blah. At first I was a little concerned the steak wasn't good quality, as I had a hard time getting a steak knife through it, but I came to realize the problem was an extremely dull utensil. I asked for a new knife, and encountered the same issue. It may be time to upgrade/replace them. For dessert we tried the Cheesecake. It was light and quite tasty. In classic New York style, it came with a thin layer of sour cream on top. Very well done! Despite the flaws noted, we enjoyed our experience, and look forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.
Sadly, both the food and service were terrible. Steak was overcooked and served with a scoop of “mashed potatoes.” Lamb chops were still basically raw and the chicken piccata was cold with mushy noodles. Would not recommend for the prices they charge.
Wild boar tenderloin and halibut dishes are excellent. Nice Oregon Pinot Noir to finish what the stellar bartender poured for pre-dinner drinks made for a great meal. Service was great as always.
Food and service are consistently good. Finding parking can be a little bit complicated but is worth the effort.

Great food, great service, only negative is they sat us near the kitchen and that was our view for the night.
Park Tavern is a downtown favorite. The food, drinks, service are always top notch. In fact, I fell in love with a Manhattan here once and the elk here is to die for.
food was really good , wife had the salmon absolutely delicious, plenty of bang for the buck . Place was really good
Great Happy Hour with many food and drink options.
Very nice place, service is excellent unfortunately food is mid. For the prices everything should be perfect. We started with the calamari. Nothing wrong with it but also nothing special about it. For the main course we ordered the branzino and the skirt steak. The fish was fried very hard and had little to no seasoning. The asparagus it was served with was not properly prepared and the fibrous bottoms were left on. It could've used some acidity. The mac and cheese was bland. The skirt strak was cooled well but the chimichurri was surprisingly not as flavorful and bright as a chimichurri should be. The fingerling potatoes were nondescript and the Brussels sprouts were actually seasoned and cooked well. The salads that came with the meals were also good. Overall a nice dining experience but the food was not as impressive as I had hoped.
