Never had green with cheese tamales. What’s the point opening a store of tamales if you don’t have any tamales. If their father was alive he would be disappointed. They are over priced and female worker is very rude. Always has an attitude. No wonder their Westside location didn’t make it. You’re better off looking elsewhere.

I bought several tamales in the last couple of weeks. They’re pretty good. I’ll be back for more as far as the drink not too good. The ladies are friendly. They seem to be nice, but like I said, the Mexican drink not good.

The culinary offerings are truly remarkable, complemented by a standard of service that elevates the entire experience. While the quality of the food and attention from staff are exceptional, the available space for dining is limited. This constraint might impact the ambiance for people seeking a dining setting. Nevertheless, the service and attentive care provided remain outstanding.

I was so looking forward to the tamales. I bought pork and rajas and both were pretty dry. They were mainly maza, not too much filling, and the maza also needed a little salt. Sadly disappointed.

The owner was very friendly and polite. I went in to grab a dozen of tamales for work in the morning and they were fresh and hot. Very good flavors. Definitely my favorite place for tamales.

My first visit to Pepe's Tamales was a modest experience. The restaurant is quite small, with limited seating—and it appears primarily geared towards takeout, as there are no dining-in options or restrooms available. The menu offers just a few choices: cheese and chicken tamales, with no mention of beef or other varieties.

Prices are reasonable, with a dozen tamales costing under $20, which is fair for the portion size. Beverage options are limited to Coke products, but unfortunately, Diet Coke is not available and all are bottled.

The tamales themselves were okay—considering the limited menu, they met expectations but didn't stand out as exceptional. Overall, Pepe's Tamales seems suited for a quick, budget-friendly snack rather than a sit-down meal.

I used to enjoy the flavor and quality of Pepe’s Tamales two years ago, but my recent visit was a major disappointment. This past weekend, I purchased what I thought were fresh tamales. Upon unwrapping the husk, all I could smell was a strong vinegar scent. Taking one bite, I was shocked to find that the red pork tamales tasted like spoiled cheese. The green chicken tamales had the same rancid cheese flavor.
Given the high price and the fact that this place only accepts cash, I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I hope the management takes note and revises their product quality.

Tastiest tamales available from a brick and mortar, in my wholesome honest opinion. Wonderful friendly service. I wish I lived closer.
