We got there at a good time no lines to get our buffet. The salad bar was fresh & variety of things to have for your salad. All kinds of pizza , all fresh & delicious. I wish they had more dessert options, they had the cinnamon pizza , be nice to have strawberry or lemon. Clean and good service too. Definitely would go back

On September 20, 2025 at 1:30 we had reserved to have our daughters birthday party at this Peter Piper. We never imagined that it would turn out to be the worst decision that we could have made by reserving here. When we got here we were greeted by Marissa the manager. Who I do not think should be a manager especially the one greeting the families that reserve to have a party. One she is very rude and very aggressive. This woman greeted me like if she knew me or as if I owed her something. Second, every time we asked her a question her answer was I don't know. How are you the manager & you do not know how to answer simple questions. And then she put a little girl named Noah to be our host for our party. When we needed this little girl she was nowhere to be found. She was either in the back, walking around, or talking to the employees. We could see her doing this. She would be standing in the corner where the cheese & peppers were at talking with the host from the other party next to us. This little girl Noah kept rushing us to order even though we kept telling her we were not ready. But what really made this worse was the fact that there was a boy walking around Peter Piper the whole time we were there. Well let me tell you that this boy smelled like he hadn’t showered in only god knows how. His smell was so bad that I ended up going to the restroom to throw up. I didn’t say anything because I could tell this boy was not all there mentally, but then I realized that this boy was at Peter Piper with nobody to look after him. So I brought it to the attention of two employees where the kids trade tokens for prizes. So I am thinking they went & told the manager well this is where I tell you this manager should not be a manager. She approached me telling me is everything ok. I told her no there is a little boy that smells very bad walking around by himself. And this is what she told me. Yes he comes from time to time & he just walks around by himself & we watch over him. I did not know that Peter Piper was a daycare. And I told her how can you watch over a child you don’t know. What if something happens to him while he is here in this establishment & the manager told me again that they watch after him. As a person from the restaurant industry, and understands the business & liability , I clearly knew that this person did not know what she was talking about. I really hope this review reaches corporate so they can do something about it & I will be reaching out to corporate as well.

Thank you so much Michael, by accident we dropped a plate, and we started cleaning it. But Michael came over right away, very nicely and kindly took over the mess and cleaned it. I feel so bad for dropping the plate, but due to a previous injury I had (few years back) I sometimes loose control of my fingers sensation, it happens without warning, and I drop stuff.
We went for a birthday, very good place to spend a nice time with the family.

I recently had my son’s first birthday party at PPP. We love the pizza and I always had great childhood memories. So I was super excited to have my first child’s birthday event there. Well there are many rules at Peter Piper Pizza. 1. They DO NOT give you any time to set up for your event. My party started at 11am and they gave me 10mins before guest arrived. 2. You cannot have a back drop for balloons because you cannot block the walkway. 3. They cannot tell you how many tables they will give you until the day of the party. So I didn’t know how much decorations to get. 4. After we had paid our bill for the party, I received an email saying I earned points from my purchase. Well I could not redeem through the app so I went to the exact PPP I had the party and ask if they can help me. They said I had to do it that day of the party and they cannot go back and reprint my receipt with the bar code. I came in two days after the party. I lost 5 free pizzas that I could’ve gotten from points. 5. You only have a 2 hour window for your event. So we felt rush to setup and take everything down. And you cannot pay extra for more time.
Overall I am super DISAPPOINTED and we’ll NEVER have a birthday party there. Isn’t this suppose to be a child friendly environment where you can celebrate and enjoy children’s event. I DON’T THINK SO! I recommend others to consider other pizza venues than Peter Piper Pizza on Balboa St.

I love Peter piper pizza, took my son with me to get some lunch and the food was amazing. Some customers are rude and inconsiderate but has nothing to do with the restaurant.
