First the person in the front was rude & you can tell she doesn't care! The place was half full & was told we had to wait 20min for a table, which didn't make sense! Maybe it was extra work to sit us down. We have been going here for years but guess this place doesn't appreciate its loyal customers! I see other comments expressing the same concerns. Well, we headed to little Shack & had a great meal. Maybe Red Latern has enough costumers or management isn't on top of things.

Had the general tos and the hunan beef. Beef was tough the general chicken was tough and didn't taste fresh. Only thing I liked was the BBQ pork rice.Used to be good here. Won't be

We walked in for an early lunch, the place was pretty empty. The wallpaper was coming off the walls, the ceiling dingy, the floor tiles broken and the floor was sticky to walk on. We sat down and waited a good while to get our drink order in despite the place being empty. We placed our order which came out quickly but the waitress was talking to someone about buying a home so my husband didn't get his plate till I was done eating. I had the orange chicken and was not a fan of how dry the meat was so I didn't eat much. My husband had the cashew beef and that had an interesting flavor I suppose. As I waited for him to finish, a roach crawled across the wall next to me and I jumped up. The hostess noticed the commotion as my husband tried to kill it. She promptly went to the manager who comped our meal. We obviously did not take left overs. As we were leaving another roach came out of the baseboard. This place needs to be shut down immediately. If roaches are coming out during broad daylight right next to people, there is obviously an infestation.

Everything we ordered had jalapenos in it. And I mean a lot of jalapenos! I have never seen jalapenos in pad Thai or a curry dish. Jalapenos were not listed on the menu I received. I can't eat them so I had to throw my food away.

I ordered a pick up order: the beef pan fried noodles, cheese cake, dumplings, general Tso chicken. The noodles came in a to-go box RAW! As if they came out of a Ramen instant cup of noodles. Google only allows photos unfortunately but the noodles snap in half. They made zero effort. They didn’t boil them at all. I should have gone to dollar tree and purchased a cup of noodles to save myself the disappointment that is their “pan fried noodles”. Am I a tad pissed? Yeah. Who likes spending $30 plus dollars on a raw meal. The cheese cake was so gross and over sweetened. I’m pretty sure they bought the cheesecake from a grocery store. The general tso chicken and the dumplings were the only semi decent dish.

I placed an order directly with the restaurant and when I picked up the order, the items listed were what I. Ordered. When my wife opened the bag there were no steamed pork dumplings! I called the restaurant and told them of the omission and asked for the cost of the dumplings plus tax and tip be refunded to my credit card. She said that she would do so. I got a call back later this evening and when I returned the call I was told that they do not refund individual items. They only offer to add another note to my number and reduce the next bill. This has happened before and I never got anything reduced.

I work for a law firm and was appalled to learn about the various illegal activities being carried out here. From the hiring of illegal immigrants, selling drugs out of the always open back door, and undeservedly reprimanding the employees that are legally allowed to work there, it will be a win for our city to finally have this place shut down permanently. El Paso is a beautiful place, and we do not need establishments like this who blatantly skirt the law because they never bothered to learn the legalities of this country.

First & last time here! We ordered the family meal deal got General Tso’s and Sweet & Sour chicken and both plates were dry, full of nerve, and just unappetizing; chicken fried rice was tasteless to say the least. For drinks we got two waters, one red wine and one white wine - tasted like box wine, which we’re not complaining about, for three dollars we knew what we were getting. 15 minutes in, maybe four bites later, we decided we couldn’t keep pretending the food was good so we asked the waitress if we could send the meal back and get the check and just pay for what we ate, which was NOT even 1/4th of the plate. Waitress was super sweet & apologetic but when she came back she said the boss had refused to discount any items from our check. This upset both my partner and I because again the plates were basically full. Compliments go out to the server during this visit, she remained attentive and sweet overall - the boss on the other hand, was clearly upset at us.Should’ve gone to El Doggy, next door.
