Actually I always call to have my food delivered! And I usually always order my favorite. Which is Pan Fried Noodles Combination. And I've done this for about over five years now. When last year I read on the news that Chinese Restaurants were experiencing Racial Prejudice. I knew that wasn't right. So to show my support, I continued ordering from Red Lantern. But around November I called to order, several food items. And my Pan Fried Noodles had three long black human hairs. very disappointing. I called to complain, and Red Lantern redelivered same dish but with no shrimp. I stopped ordering from them till last week, when I decided to order again. This time their service dropped, my food came in Styrofoam 32 once cups. They've never done that before, the pan fried noodles always come in Styrofoam plates. But the food itself comes in plastic plates sizzling hot. I do take it personal, because when I called to order, they already have my phone number and address listed on their data. And they know that I have been a customer for a few years now. But when the girl answering my call, and she looked up my phone number and repeated my name and address. She put my on hold, and that's never happened before. I felt suspicious because of what had happened before. So as is the girl had to go ask the manager. I just felt it wasn't right! but then when my food arrived. A was not expecting the poor quality of service in food preparation. I always pay over thirty dollars and I give the delivery driver a $5.00 tip. That was the final straw for me.. BTW! I use to live in San Francisco, and there is a HUGE Difference in Chinese Food! El Pasoans are being taken for fools.

I went for the lunch special and was please by the large number of selections. Food arrive fairly quickly, wonderfully freaky and flavorful. For 4.95 ! Large enough portion I took some home.

At least 20 years ago, or longer, I had last eaten here with my family when both children were quite young (elementary school age), but the fleeting memory of quality then was reinforced now. The fried rice was delicious, filling and an excellent ask for the two toppings of orange chicken and broccoli-chicken. [These were the two my good friend & former colleague GM had selected for the dual lunch special we shared.] Indeed, my enjoying lunch here was at his invitation to their (VAC: Vocational Adjustment Coordinator) traditional end-of-the school year meeting, in which I Shared a table with all five of them. I was very fortunate to be able to join them, especially at thus fine eatery. Anyway, our discussion was primarily focused upon work-related duties and final tasks before Summer break. Just listening to the complexities involved were not necessarily too different from when I was a VAC, but my input became more limited because of technology: increased use of computers and internet, and I am a (slowly evolving) “Digital Dinosaur”! I’m very glad I reTIRED when I did!

Just no. Service good. Food, yuck. I might get food poisoning. My katsu chicken was raw, I asked for it to be cooked some more, it came back barely warm. Sushi, disgusting. The interior, which was very nice, did not match the food. Again, just no.

This is a well decorated and quiet sushi restaurant. It has a strong smell of fish but otherwise is quite enjoyable and the food was tasty.

Searching for good Chinese food in El Paso is not unlike searching for water in the desert: you're probably not going to find any! I've heard it said that Red Lantern, on Zaragoza Road in East El Paso, offers what is probably the best Chinese food in El Paso. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised to find the first of the three dining rooms virtually full. I ordered Singapore Mei Fun and Moo Goo Gai Pan with white rice for take-out and the food arrived in no more than 10 minutes. The problem with ordering Chinese food in El Paso is that you never really know what you're going to get, or, more precisely, just how different it's going to be from what you've known on either the east or west coasts. Red Lantern was no exception here. Singapore Mei Fun is a heaping spicy dish of curried vermicelli noodles with shrimp, chicken and pork, and a few veggies for color. Not out of character for El Paso, the Red Lantern dish had a pretty low curry factor. When I open the box and can't smell any curry at all, I know I'm in El Paso. There were quite a few very nice fresh shrimp, even fewer strips of chicken breast, and no roasted pork whatsoever; a bit light on the meats. It also had no green onion, no sprouts, no snow peas, no shredded carrot, and no crushed red pepper flakes, but what it did have was a few strips of green bell pepper and a few slices of jalapeno; not really the norm. I will say the noodles were cooked to perfection and not falling apart and the dish was not greasy or oily. In spite of the differences or lack, yes, this was probably El Paso's best attempt, so far, at Singapore Mei Fun. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was equally different and not good at all, but it did come with an enormous box of rice. This dish seemed to confirm to me that the Red Lantern chicken breast is likely cooked in advance. In both dishes the chicken lacked that fresh-cooked moistness and was dry and tasteless. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was entirely lacking the usual creamy chicken-y clear sauce. This Red Lantern version was just a stir-fry. As for veggies, although I was expecting mushrooms, snow peas, and water chestnuts, what I got was mostly zucchini, celery, white onion, a token snow pea or two, and some unusual mushrooms. Overall, a big disappointment for the Moo Goo Gai Pan. I will say Red Lantern stands out from its competition by packaging its take-out in the nice firm plastic boxes with snap-on lids rather than the Styrofoam boxes, and it does have very clean rest rooms, but, otherwise, we're still searching for that elusive water here in the desert. And, don't get me wrong, I really love it here in El Paso, I just really miss good Chinese food.

Ummm I wanted to give this place a try but one look at the menu and there was really nothing fuzion about it. Sushi, mediocre ramen, and nothing really appeasing. Overall the service was ok but honestly if they want to compete with what is around them that menu ain't gonna cut it.

This was literally the worst sushi I have ever had and the supposed tempura combo app was horrible!!!! It was flour battered and was nasty!!! The salmon on our rainbow roll had a bad fishy smell and most of the fish was questionable. Horrible!!!! I will make sure to spread the word on how awful this place is. Very dissappointed. Should have gone to an all u can eat buffet for sushi. It was that bad.
