Love it!!!!
Super nice staff Miguel and Luis always welcome us great they are the reason we keep on going they have great customer service! They even know what my husband and I drink they are always on top of asking how we are doing or if we need anything ☺️
They had a DJ on the Friday we were there. I thought the DJ would play 80's music to go with the theme of the place but it was EDM. Not my choice of music.
One of the best places in the west side with a great atmosphere. They always have really good music playing. There staff is always exemplary one of the managers Luis always goes above and beyond to give good service and good vibes.
All the games are broken and stole most of our money not the same old rad we loved and bartender didn’t even know what a Paloma was
I've been a regular of this place basically since its' opened and I've always enjoyed it. This review is toward the bartender today Monday, Dec. 2, 2024 at 2p.m. and NOT my beloved Rad!
My bf and I have been craving their pizza for some time and I was excited to go for their Monday pizza deal, which we've been enjoying a few Mondays already (don't judge, they're delicious!) Well, we saw that they opened at 2 and we walked in no later than 2:03. We ordered the pizza probably 2 minutes later. We sat at the bar to wait and we opted not to get a drink since my bf worked at 3:30. At 2:24 I asked the bartender if it was almost done and her response was a, "NO, about 10 more minutes". So we sat there. At 2:37 I asked again if it was almost done because it had been 13 minutes since she had said 10 minutes. She looked at me and said with a snooty look on her face and attitude in her voice, "it's cuz the kitchen opens at 3 and I had to make the pizza". I proceeded to say she should've said that from the beginning but she walked away to check the pizza. She comes back saying it was halfway done. I couldn't believe my ears. It has never taken more than 15 minutes, let alone 40.
I understand, you're a bartender, not a cook. However, the lack of communication from the get go but rather informing us with attitude after waiting over half an hour already was unprofessional. The added snarkiness was uncalled for and that's what really upset us. We had to get our money back and rush home because so much time was killed.
We'll probably be back at one point because literally every other time we've had great service, even when they're busy! But for now, this experience has left a sour taste :/

Everything inside the building was great, and the arcades were fun. My best friend and I had a wonderful time overall. This was my first visit here.
However, when we decided to eat at the restaurant, we had a frustrating experience with the server. I waited a long time for a drink refill, feeling extremely thirsty. I even waved at the server, and she acknowledged me, saying “okay.” But after that, I had to wait almost 20 more minutes before she finally came to refill my drink. I ended up having to pause eating because my throat was so dry.
When we asked for the check, we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. It felt like the server was completely ignoring us. We didn’t like waiting nearly an hour for such simple requests. Next time, if I eat there, I’ll have to go directly to the bar whenever we need something, as the servers don’t seem to check on their tables often or respond quickly.

Terrible service, I ordered my dinner, I got up to go to the bathroom and they take off from my table. She told me very rudely that it was my fault. Terrible service cannot be possible 😡

Actual token arcade! Food is good but I want a vegetarian option that isn’t cheese pizza.
Everything is so cool here and my son loves the pinball machines. Beer on tap, knowledgeable cooks & bartenders.

This place used to be called Rubrik and then went through a name change (probably trademark infringement). After it became Rad, I visited only to find that the majority of the 80s arcade had been taken out and replaced with carnival style games ?. The few arcade machines that were left were the least popular or were turned off. Stayed for one drink and left.

Pretty cool as a bar. Good 90's and 80's music playing, themed drinks, prices okay. As arcade, not so much, the retro games hidden in a sad dirty looking backroom with most of them broken or unplugged.
