I visited this Smoothie King location yesterday and witnessed something that really showed the professionalism of the team. Two workers (both young women) handled a very difficult situation with patience and respect. Two customers were being extremely rude and raising their voices over a refund issue that wasn’t the workers’ fault at all—it was simply how the payment system works and policy requires the same card for refunds.
Despite being spoken to disrespectfully, the staff stayed calm, polite, and tried to help within the rules. They didn’t deserve the way those customers acted. I’m writing this review to support those workers and make sure their effort and professionalism don’t go unnoticed.
I come here for a quick drink and never have any problems until today my experience was horrible. We arrived at the drive-thru at 8:20, waited 10 minutes, no one answered so we got down and then placed our order. The staff seemed rushed, and the manager, Aisha, was short-tempered.When we requested a refund after paying with Apple Pay, Aisha became agitated, raising her voice and demanding the physical card. Despite our previous successful refunds via Apple Pay, she insisted it wasn’t possible without the card. We ended up keeping our drinks since a refund wasn’t an option.
What made matters worse was the staff’s behavior while we waited for our drinks was disrespectful, Aisha the manger and Andrea appeared to be mocking us, making comments about closing time (it was 8:30 when our drinks were ready). To add insult, the order was made incorrect. Very disrespectful ladies.
Never disappointed. Quick service. Friendly atmosphere. Good products.
Took over 20 minutes for one bowl, 2 of the employees where just talking and standing and one of them was working but more chitchat than anything
First time trying Smoothie King and it did not live up to the hype. The smoothie itself tasted okay a little pricey for the quality but I was more disappointed in the service. I ordered ahead on the app and when I walked in I was intrigued by the menu and started looking at it. The 3 employees saw me standing there and made eye contact but never greeted me or asked how they can help me or said anything at all to me. The environment felt high school ish and they had no customers. You would think me being the only one they would be more social. Kind of weirded out I waited there silently awaiting for them to say something but 2 of them just went to the back on their phones. Waited about a minute and finally told them I’m here for my mobile order which had already been sitting there for a few minutes. I don’t understand why we as consumers would have to be the ones asking for help from businesses nowadays, shouldn’t they be asking how they can help us?
Great service and my toddler was able to walk around since nobody else was there. Great smoothies
This place is amazing! The staff go above and beyond!
Don’t waste your money or time coming here. Came here to use coupons given from the EP marathon and this location wouldn’t honor all of them when nothing states that you couldn’t use both at once. Scanned my app for a customer discount and discount wasn’t honored either. Customer service not friendly. Our order was also wrong. Overpaid for the wrong smoothies. The whole experience was just bad.
