Subway

The food court in the Sunland Park Mall really didn't have much, with most stores closed down forever. But thank god for Subway. As a visitor to El Paso, I really didn't feel like cooking and most restaurants in the area served salty fatty unhealthy foods so I set out to find a Subway nearby and found one hidden in this dying shopping center. I made a few trips to the mall just to get my Veggie Sandwich and Micheal the Sandwich Artist that helped me was Awesome. He prepared the sandwich so well and was very generous with the toppings without making me feel awkward about asking for them! He was really nice and professional not to mention hard working! The prices are cheap, the bread is fresh during the day but I had to know out a star because when I came in the evening the bread was horrible dry and crumbly. All and all it is a Subway like others but with great hardworking Staff. Make sure to ask Micheal to make your sandwich, he makes it with much care and love!

So the hours posted here are wrong (Sunland Park Mall location only)it does not open at 830 am nor at 10 am. I've gone to this Subway early before around 10 but yesterday 8/20/18 in case the manager cares the lady thatwas there was rude and gave me a horrible sandwich. As I approached at 9 am I clearly saw nothing was out so I figured they definitely don't open early. So i waited on a table when a man approached her and said it's open right? not sure what she told him but he waited 15 min then he ordered I saw him ordering and got in line she was being rude to him rolling her eyes and sighing. When I asked her for flat bread with egg she said egg was not ready I asked if I should wait till 10 she laughed a little and said around there. At almost 1030 she told me egg was still frozen so I ordered a regular sandwich but I won't go on on how rude she was with the eye rolling and sighing. Mind you there was another staff member helping. When I sat down the bread was cut horrible she put 2 pieces of rotisserie n the bread hard as a rock. I threw it and just had it with this person that clearly hates her job and shouldn't be employed here if she behaves like this everyday. I figured going back was just going to be a waste of time.

Subway sandwiches are a treat for lunch alongside a bag of chips and a refreshing soft drink. There are so many choices and Its always fresh.
