As a regular at Sunny’s Sushi, I stopped by without a reservation this time. The manager noticed and still sat us at the sushi bar—no issue at all, and it’s actually one of my favorite spots for the close-up view of the action. Our server Charles was excellent: attentive, efficient, and on top of everything. The entire staff stayed sharp and coordinated, and the chef right in front of us took great care of our orders, making sure everything came out perfect. The food was incredible, as always—fresh, flavorful, and consistently top-tier. Sunny’s never disappoints on quality. Highly recommend for anyone craving reliable, high-quality sushi in El Paso. If you’re going to Sunny’s Sushi, do yourself a favor and hope you get Mia—because she is an absolute LEGEND when it comes to customer service. From the second we sat down, she brought the perfect mix of friendliness, professionalism, and pure good vibes. Mia didn’t just take our order—she elevated our entire dining experience. Her recommendations were spot-on (seriously, she deserves a medal for that), she anticipated what we needed before we even asked, and she checked on us with perfect timing every single time. On top of that, her energy is infectious. She made us feel like welcomed guests rather than just customers, and it turned a good meal into an unforgettable one. Sunny’s Sushi is amazing on its own—but Mia makes it next-level. If there were a 6-star option, she’d earn it.

I had such a great experience at Sunny’s Sushi thanks to our waitress, Mia. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She checked in often without ever feeling intrusive, and she had great recommendations everything she suggested was delicious. Mia made the whole meal feel easy and enjoyable. She was quick with drink refills, made sure our sushi came out exactly as ordered, and handled everything with a smile. It’s clear she takes pride in giving great service. If you’re visiting Sunny’s Sushi, definitely ask to sit in Mia’s section. She made our night wonderful, and we’ll absolutely be back because of her!
