I had the spicy seafood udon and it was easily the best in El Paso. The broth was rich with real dashi and a spicy gochugaru kick. The Mexican Orgazim roll was fresh and full of flavor. The service was hands down the best I’ve experienced at any Sunny’s Sushi. Finished with deep fried ice cream twice.

This is a little different style Sushi with a Korean twist. Food was good, presented well, and came out quickly. Service was excellent, atmosphere is okay. The full size poster of the owner as you walk in is definitely different. We eat here a couple times a month as it is close by.

Was charged $30.11 for the eel rice bowl which was listed at around $28/29 on their menu. I will spend money on good food but the portion size was tiny, and the rice was not hot at all AND it took >30mins to come out. I was so annoyed I commented on the mistake of the bill but just ended up paying the $30 since I will never eat here again anyways. It felt like the absolute basics of running a buisness are lacking- from updating menus to making sure food that should be hot comes out hot.

Haven’t had Sunny’s in a while and I was craving it so I decided to treat myself. I regret getting it…Nothing was fresh and it didn’t taste the same as I remember. My Las Vegas roll already had eel sauce on it, almost looked reused from another plate? For the price I definitely didn’t get what I paid for. I’m disappointed. Going to have to look for a new sushi spot.

In the westside, this has been my go to place for sushi for the past 12 years. I feel they have the best tasting sushi, miso soup, and chicken teriyaki compared to other restaurants in the area. Atmosphere is friendly and cozy.

Only drawback is that you can't order directly from the restaurant for pickup without going through a 3rd party app. You are able to call in orders, but will need to pay over the phone before picking up.

I LOVE this place, and this location specifically. The staff is SO KIND, helpful, sweet, funny, and just generally great people. My partner and I frequent here as of late and while I love trying new things, my partner is a creature of habit. As soon as we walk in, the chefs start on a custom roll for my partner while I decide what new adventure I'll take my taste buds on. The owner, Sung Hui, and the waitress, Vianey, (I hope I spelt those right!) always help me find something delicious. Which isn't hard to do because I've never had anything less than amazing. The spring rolls and house made sauce are my new thing. Their miso soup is TOP TIER. It's flavorful and rich, always hot and yummy. They can make any custom roll, but their menu is expansive and a great fit for anyone. The food always taste fresh and clean. I'm always satisfied and satiated with one roll, but I can't help myself and usually end up getting something additional to go. I have nothing but positive things to say about everyone there. The ambiance, the food, the pricing, everything is fair, pleasant and wonderful. I will continue to come back and you should really go!

It’s okay, honestly very pricey for what you get, $30 for very little and it doesn’t even taste crazy good. I usually eat store bought sushi and this was my first time getting it from a restaurant and honestly it basically tastes the same. Maybe it’s the type of sushi I got, maybe not. But one thing is that it’s not worth the price for the quality. I expect better tasting for higher prices.

Since we arrived in El Paso 8 months ago we started an “accidental” tradition of ordering from here at least once a month. We love the sushi rolls and the fried noodles!! Everything gets prepared quickly and the hosts that recieve us at the entrance are always very nice. Can’t wait to dine in sometime to keep trying the menu!

Sunny’s sushi is the best!! They have an Amazing chef that makes tempura and potstickers to PERFECTION 💯- the Hot bulgogi Bibimbap bowl was the best I’d had too!! Generous portions, plenty to take home too. Green tea -flavored ice cream hit the spot for dessert. Vianey gave excellent wait-service and was friendly and helpful. They had beautiful interior decorations too with a mystical garden flavor (cute little mushroom lights and figures sprinkled throughout the restaurant). Grade A+ eats- will be back 👍🏻 (potstickers not pictured, and the jasmine tea comes with free miso soup too!)
