Sunny’s Sushi has several locations - this is the one by Woodrow Bean Transmountain. My husband and I went for dinner the night before Valentine’s Day fully expecting there would be a long wait. We were seated right away and I love the atmosphere. From the outside, it looks small but that’s definitely not the case. Our server was very attentive throughout. They brought out miso soup and pickled cucumbers while we waited for our appetizer. We ordered the fried gyoza, it came out hot and fresh. I had the Lion King roll which was delicious and my husband had the teriyaki steak and chicken with fried rice. It was a generous portion, he had to bring the rest home. We ended our dinner with the yuzu lemon cake which had a refreshing tart taste. We’ll definitely be back and I’m looking forward to trying their strawberry matcha cake next!

Gael was wonderful! Extremely friendly and checked up on us all the time. The guava all you need was made by him and it was delicious!!! Highly reccommend his service!

Came for the dessert here looking for a tasty snack and was not disappointed! The lava cake was nice and rich with a warm center and fried ice cream pairs well with a crunchy shell and ice cream middle. Our server Isaac was very attentive and welcoming which topped off our experience.
