ordered multiple items, many sauces were missing, barely acknowledged (no hello/welcome/smile to be found), and apparently they got no lids? bad customer service really gets me

I've been to Sushi freak in las cruces before for their sushi burrito, I was in el paso today and decided to stop at this location... this is my new favorite location. The guy who made my burrito deserves a raise. I'm gonna show the las cruces team this picture because this is what a $15 burrito should look like. ?

I did like this place but not so much any more. 4 roles and a drink... $57.00 I had to get up 5 times to ask for things like a fork and napkin. Its Subway for fish! Save your self the drama and just go to a reastraunt. Same price better service.

Really good for the price! Fresh fish, friendly staff, and great flavors. I have tried so many sushi-type restaurants in ELP, and this one is by far the best. Don't tell me Riyoma or any of those other places, they are overpriced and underwhelming.

Didn’t even try the food. All the tables were dirty, and there was food all over the floor. Nobody acknowledged us and when I went to go ask if someone could wipe my table the employee seemed bothered. Once she was cleaning our table I asked if she could please sweep under the table and we were completely ignored. My toddler picked up a piece of sushi from under the table and that did it for us. We walked out.

The guys working Saturday today at 3pm were nice and welcoming. Poke bowl is good. We went during happy hour. Easy to order and quick.

For fast food, it's actually pretty good. Every time I'm on the west side, I stop and grab lunch. Their buy 2 rolls, get 1 free happy hour is a pretty good deal!

Its bad enough that the pricing has gone up and no longer allowed to be served half protein portions, but the service in this place is beyond sub par. No "welcome, how may I help you", no smile, no eye contact, no personable interactions with any of the employees there. The employee serving me my poke bowl appeared to be frustrated having to explain how the proteins are now served. The gentlemen taking my payment.. again... no "hello", no "is there anything else we can get you".. He just spouted my total and stiff handed me my to - go bag.. No "thank you" no "enjoy", no "have a good day"... Who the heck is responsible for training these kids on customer service?! I enjoy the food enough to keep going back and deal with the price increase but the poor service just kills it for me.

I am also noticing the lack of acknowledgement on all 1 star reviews addressing the poor overall service... For shame for shame...

If you have a gluten allergy or celiac’s disease or any other deadly allergies I do NOT recommend eating at this sushi freak.

My partner and I went here yesterday since most sushi freaks make sure his food is safe. (He has celiac’s and we were very clear about this) This location on the other hand was very careless.

Instead of making his burrito safely in the back they brought the allergy board to the front and placed it on the contaminated counter. Also, they recommended imitation crab even though it contains gluten which we had to inform them about despite this information being on their menus. We ordered a Philadelphia to share as well and they used contaminated ingredients. (When ordering the burrito they said that the only uncontaminated meat left under the counter was spicy tuna and imitation crab(which is not safe)They still used the salmon instead of substituting something safe.) My partner was sick for hours after eating there.

Please be careful.
