The goat cheese is mixed with honey, baked, and served while it's still bubbling hot. You mix the goat cheese, spread it on their freshly grilled (and oiled!) bread, and top it off with a sweet onion jam. I know onion jam sounds odd, but it doesn't taste like onion at all, and tastes mostly like a sweet jam that pairs in the most heavenly way with your hot cheese.

All I can tell Is that food is really nice, just a little of bad of experience with the service back then.

Grilled pulpo: was good but definitely on the expensive side. Pulpo in Spain was not cheap either, but I liked the texture of pulpo at the restaurants I've had in Spain. They were much less chewier and had a softer texture. The one at Tabla had a great flavor (citrus + that grilled, savory char) and went really well with their hummus. thanks

The owner is very unconsidered. He hasn’t even pay to some of the employees.

Tabla is fantastic. I've been going for years and also just ate there the last 2 nights in a row. Norbert is an artist in the kitchen with his restaurant and the food is always top notch. Definitely a hidden gem

Way too expensive. Small porportion plates at $20 a piece. These dishes are inexpensive finger foods that i make at home all the time. Very disappointed. I don't mind paying for good quality food but this wasn't worth it.

My new favorite tapas spot in ELP! The pork sliders changed my life

I invited a group of my Soldiers here and we ordered a slew of things but nothing really stood out for me. They really liked it, but they're young and haven't tried a lot of food in the world. I'd come back again and give this another try but someone would have to invite me. Sorry I couldn't comment more on this place, but again, I really don't remember any food that stood out.

I will be honest we were a little skeptical coming here because the seating we were in was a little tight for our taste and it was hot. The restaurant itself though is very nicely decorated and the live music was great. The drinks were super strong for us but that just made them worth the higher price. The food is where this place truly shines; it was so delicious we pretty much forgot about anything else. We ordered bacon dates, brussel sprouts, papas, paella and salmon which were all absolutely worth it! For dessert we got the churros and bread pudding, the churros being our favorite but both were great. We will definitely return.

This is just an OK tapas place. Most items were good, but severely lacking in salt! The octopus was overcooked x2, had to be sent back. The meatballs and the burger were the best items on the menu. In fact one of the better burgers I have had in a long time.
