My husband was treated awfully at Taco Bell 031641 at 5300 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904. We are active duty military and have been going to Taco Bell more frequently when they began to offer their military discount. This isn’t our first negative experience here, however, it will be our last. On 12/09/2025 at 11:51 AM (Order 26199b) my husband ordered his birthday lunch to the cashier Perla A. He was in his active duty military uniform & had his military ID present, asked for the military discount on his order that was under the max $15 ($11.65). Perla A. rudely told him that they didn’t do military discounts anymore with an attitude and shoved him his order and slammed the window very fast so he couldn’t even ask when it was discontinued, since we were honored it yesterday. My husband’s feelings were hurt because he is a very kind man and called me to tell me his experience and was really hurt, he explained he didn’t know what he did to receive that type of attitude and horrible service. I immediately called the store and talked to the store manager to ask if they still offered their discount and he said they do and informed him of how his window worker was treating their loyal customers/military members. I have worked in food all my life (grew up in my best friend family’s restaurant) and worked fast food for the past 10 years. Customer service is key, essential and will honestly make the food taste better in my opinion. Usually we only have horrible service at this location at night, but what else do you expect from kids in High School and/or working at night sucks so we try to give them grace and understanding due to their lack of understanding on how to treat people and/or value a job.

This is not a good Taco Bell. The food is sometimes spoiled, other times like today, they screw up your order. Pic related is a breakfast quesadilla that was supposed to have no meat. It also smells like it might have gone bad. Customer service has gone downhill recently, the line moves slower and staff are much less friendly than they once were. I always go drive thru because the dining area is always dirty and homeless people come in causing problems. If you want Taco Bell out here, the one on Rutherford is really good! So is the one off Woodrow Bean Transmountain.

Just ordered 3 crunchy tacos with no tomatoes but they came with extra tomatoes?? 80% of this order is inedible due to a tomato allergy. Usually things are good with previous orders here but not this time... disappointed..

My orders always wrong and cold each time, I've done Uber eats as well and they'll have you waiting wasting your time, don't accept any Uber eats from here, you'll lose a whole hr

9-6-25 @ 6:20pm very rude young lady in the drive thru. She was bothered that I asked what the cost was because I couldn't hear her and when my food was ready opened the window and handed me my bag and said nothing. You need to have more customer friendly personnel working the drive thru window.
They have new items that are delicious. Only problem for me...they have Pepsi products.

After hours staff terrible ordered before 2am got no service got approached by staff kid with a white Chevy felt threatened by taco bell staff 0 out of ten hostile environment
