Seems to be a trend in El Paso. 6 employees just hanging out, cashier sitting up front with guest, ALL TABLES,FLOORS, SALSA BAR were covered in trash, we had to wipe our own table. Asked for salsa from the back and got some old moldy cup with salsa in it. My food, 2 chicken taco combo was inedible, stale chips n cheese were probably the only good thing. My kid said his steak tacos were descent. Also notice another El Paso trend, apparently having clean uniforms and looking professional is for the birds, every restaurant we have visited have employees who look like they slept in their uniforms for 8 years and never wash them. No EXCEPTION HERE!! GO TO TACO BELL!

I'll start with l, Taco Cabana is one of my favorite places to eat. We used to live in Arlington, TX, and Cabana was always on our menu for lunch and/or dinner.
We went to El Paso to purchase a vehicle and was delighted to see a Taca Cabana. We stopped on the way home and purchased a steak and a chicken quesadilla, chips and queso, and two drinks.
The quesadillas had very little meat in them, to the point you could almost call them cheese quesadillas. The queso tasted as if it was old, plus the two drinks needed to be adjusted from having way too much carbonation.
This will not turn us away. We will always give a second chance. Plus, this being our first bad experience says a lot.
But, that does not dull the bad experience this time. All we ask is take from this what you will and do better Cabana.

Ordered Three Chicken Enchiladas and got corn tortillas folded in the enchilada sauce, nothing inside them, not even cheese, just corn tortillas folded with sauce on top. I was already home, didn't want to go back, so I just made chilaquiles out of them.

I ordered curbside and was really disappointed with the food this time. I got a carne asada taco and the fajita steak nachos. What I actually received was more like a side of beans and queso poured over soggy chips, with maybe a tablespoon of fajita steak. The carne asada taco was also a letdown. the tortilla was oddly shaped and soggy from all the grease, making it nearly impossible to eat. It was wrapped it like a wadded-up napkin just to be able to wrap it in the foil to give to me
This was by far the most awkward and poorly put-together order I’ve ever gotten from this place. Definitely not worth the money, and I didn’t even get to enjoy the full meal.

Placed the order and waited w/ grandson. Then the customer behind me got their order. Then my brother who ordered after me. Got his order of chicken which i ordered as well. Then i was told that the order was almost done. Needless to say, I had to get up and ask for it to go. My brother already enjoyed his drink and food. While me and my grandson still waited. Manager was useless and the girl who took my order was also useless and cared more about being blamed then getting my order. Guaranteed to never go here again!

We ordered street tacos and they were served cold. We returned them and asked for hot ones and the employee had a very bad attitude. He was probably the one that served them cold in the first place. So if you don't like cold tacos and bad service, then definitely avoid this location.

This restaurant was really dirty; the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, the salsa bar had sauce everywhere, we had to clean our own table, and there was trash all over the floor in the dining area where customers eat. Everything my party ordered took at least 20 minutes to get to our table. I ordered sopapillas under the impression that I would be getting a good deal because they were only $2. I waited 20 more minutes to get them, and when I opened the box, I was severely disappointed. Each sopapilla was no bigger than a pizza roll. I won't be returning to this establishment, and I will tell everyone I know not to go here either. I wish I could put zero stars 👎

The flavor of the beef has changed. I noticed it a couple of months ago. I bought it from a different restaurant. (Taco Cabana). I thought I’d try it again and no the taste of the marinade is so strong and salty. I ended up throwing it away. The chips were stale. I will not buy from any Taco Cabana again.
Taco cabana’s food is good. It’s just not traditional almost has the feel of fast food if you’re in a hurry and want something fast then I would suggest if it’s gonna be for a night on the town look elsewhere the service is really good. Margaritas are good.
