This has been the best taco spot I’ve been to in El Paso! The service was great the food was fantastic and the brisket was amazing. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Went there last night for the first time very disappointing. Sat at the drive-through for 35 minutes to get three tacos with runny meat and a tortilla. I will never be back! One star because I have to!

I don't usually comment but I was very disappointed with the lack or service. I will not return to this place. We ordered chicken dinner for 2 through the drive through. Waited at least 5 minutes in drive through to get our order. Not a big deal but we were the only ones in line, for an order for two, and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot. Asked attendant if order was complete. They said yes. Got home and our $5.99 order of guacamole& chips was missing. I called 3 times. No answer 915.532.6212. I drove back. Went inside. Spoke w manager who said, "OK. I will get that for you". No apology. The manager gave me my order and said "sorry". I explained I drove home and had to return for the missing item. Manager said "sorry". I told the manager I was very disappointed with the service and their response was not right. I left with intent not to return and write this comment.

Hours online and on the door say they're open till 10. No one at the drive thru. Doors are open but everything is being closed down at 9:15. No one helps and counter, and only after asking if they're open do they say they're closed. Female employee is curt and dismissive.

It's so sad to see this place that usually has a lot of business and people, so empty. Good service and good food.

I placed my order on uber eats then I receive a call from my uber driver telling me they don’t have the food I ordered if I want to order something else I said yes then he handed the phone to the employee she had no idea what uber eats is so she passed the phone to the manager and he didn’t grab the phone instead he was telling the girl tell her we don’t have her order I don’t know what uber eats is and ask her to order something else he also went on telling the driver if he had the app so he can show him what we’re talking about. Have in mind I’m still on the line listening to them going back and forth arguing about my order I was not placed on hold I was not being talked to by the “manager” I was just listening to them go on about what is uber eats so then I’m like hello hello and nothing until later when the girl got the phone and I asked her to just cancel my order and I want my money back. She then said well I don’t know how to do that so then I asked to speak to the driver and he was able to cancel my order. I’ve never had a issue with uber eats and I don’t blame them I blame Taco Tote for not even knowing they have uber eats available! Never again am I ordering from this place

This place is a hit or miss. One day you go and all the food is great. But more often than not they get something wrong in the order or the food just plain taste horrible. On numerous occasions I have gotten a full size of rice completely not edible. Takeout orders, beware, and always ensure to take an extra minute to check every item in your order. Also, if your big on customer service or southern hospitality type treatment, this place is not for you. Will not return to this location.

I like the food from Tacotote, don't get me wrong, but not worth the price for the portion or quality. Basically you order a taco and it comes with a large delicious tortilla, with little dried pieces of meat. You don't get jalapeños or cilantro or any additional topics. The sauces are good but standard. My boyfriend and I ordered a beef fajita platter for $22 and only managed to get 4 tacos out of it. Ordered the guacamole and was very disappointed by the size and presentation! They scoop guac onto chips and serve it in a Togo box, for you to get home and scrape off the chips. Plus if you wait too long the chips get soggy and you can't eat all the guac. Basically it's deceptive to make it look like you're getting more guac then you are. I also ordered a sirloin quesadilla for my daughter and they gave us a beef fajita taco! So for around $36 I got ~5 tacos. No leftovers. Definitely disappointed in the price. If you've been lucky enough to have gone to a Torchys tacos, the portions are much bigger for your dollar. Plus the tacos are creative. The most expensive taco there is probably $4.50 but you can get it with queso and lots of toppings.

I had the worse meal there, the meat was greasy and lukewarm. The place was messy with dirty tables. Staff was not very attentive. Guess you have to be a mexican to get good service at this location. Never again will I eat at this location. I'll go to the other places

This place has super yummy food, potions are ok but not really generous. It’s a little overpriced compared, to other competitors like tacos don cuco. Their bar of salsas is very good. Ordering during busy hours is a nightmare because it takes too long to get your food so avoid going during lunch hours if you have limited amount to eat. Otherwise, eating there is very good. If it wasn’t for the overwhelming waiting to get the food I would give it 5 stars. Food tasty good consistently.

I stopped here last Sunday, late afternoon. It was my first time at any Taco Tote, even though they are all over El Paso, and are in Phoenix and Tucson, AZ and Albuquerque, NM as well. I ordered the two taco special with two sides and a drink. Price was $8.50 plus tax, which to me is a restaurant price. You take your order at the counter, get a number, and the finished meal gets served to you at the table. Tacos are individually wrapped in foil, and the two sides placed in styrofoam cups with lids, which make taking leftovers home easy. I had chicken tacos in flour tortillas with rice and frijoles. The chicken is nicely spiced. There wasn't much chicken in either taco, but the idea is to fill the tacos with your own salsas. There is plenty to choose from at the salsa bar, including lettuce and cucumbers. The soda fountain is all-you-can-drink, too. The varied salsas are all delicious and are perhaps the most authentic salsas I've had. The place is busy, but clean.
