Great place to eat. Even though I didn’t call before showing up, we didn’t have to wait too long and we were being updated by text message.

Tonight we visited Texas Roadhouse on Mesa. Sunday night at any restaurant means long wait times and extremely busy servers. Tonight was not the exception, but our server went above and beyond to serve us. Tristan checked on us constantly, even though he had multiple tables, always approached our table with a smile. Tristan was polite and offered prompt service. He is the kind of server that makes the difference when dinning out.

Bad experience in general. They had two events going on that day. Couldn't walk in the door without getting bombarded by people asking if you wanted to donate. Then their was a large group of police/sheriff's in their Couldn't tell if they were waiting to be seated or leaving. No one greeting at the door to welcome you in or ask how many in the group. Once they sat me down waiter had a big ego puff chest loud voice asking what we wanted to drink. Ordered an herb crusted chicken with mashed potatoes, waiter didn't even bother to ask what kind of gravy I wanted. Once food was ordered they decided too turn up the music loud for two songs. Couldn't even here myself think. I had to stop talking because of how loud it was. Waiter came out with food dropped off didn't ask if we needed anything else. I didn't know crusted was burnt. When waiter came back too check up on the table I told him this was burnt grunted, rudely asked what I wanted and walked away mad. One of the assistant managers came out with my new order didn't even bother too ask if everything was OK anything else I needed. I just asked for a to go box so I could leave their quickly. Don't know if I would want to go back really disappointed in general.

Steaks have not been consistently cooked to order. We order a medium and medium well. The medium was just well done. No pink at all. We have had poorer experiences with pick up.

Excellent steakhouse with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The complimentary roasted peanuts and fresh bread were a great start to the meal. Steaks were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Friendly service and a great dining experience overall!

The waiting area keeps worsening, as they keep removing spaces to wait. A new Texas Roadhouse is needed for the westside.
