Not what we expected from Thai food. Ordered spicy Thai and it was not spicy. Chicken was dry and broccoli was undercooked.

I’m sorry but the food was below average. We ordered the pad Thai, drunken noodles, kids fried rice, and papaya salad. The papaya salad was good! The rest of it was bland and overcooked.

drove a long way from the west side to try this place!

the ladies who work here were very nice, the thai tea was really good & fresh

we started off with the spring roll appetizer which was ok, 1 of the 4 was just filled with overcooked noodles and the other 3 were noodles with a good 2-3 strips of thinly sliced carrots

we tried the curry and it was a little too watery for my taste, it was more like soup instead of curry

the pad thai was good! although it was hard to eat off the plate because all the plates here are flat so everything falls off right easily and was a bit of an inconvenience

all the plates don’t come with protein yet so you have to add that but i appreciate how they fry their tofu good !

Came here and gave them a try since it’s new and close by. The food took forever, and I mean FOREVER! The servers were nice, but the guy that brought us our menu and food was stoned out of his mind the whole time. There was some ink on the table from people drawing on the window, so I asked if he could wipe that so I don’t get it on my clothes. He came back and wiped everywhere on the table except the spot with ink. Then came the fry tofu which has two sticks on it, but since we had a table of three sharing I asked if he could bring an extra stick. He came back with a pair of chop sticks and saids it slowly… “here’s the extra stick”. Wild.

Then comes the food, we ordered the fry tofu, Thai chicken wings, and spring rolls for appetizers. The drunken noodle and pad Thai for main course. Fry tofu was great, the chicken wing was undercooked, my daughter ate the spring rolls so I didn’t get to try it. Pad Thai had really good flavor and it was hot and fresh. As for the drunken noodles, the flavor was just ok.

I really wanted to like this place. My husband and I came in ordered spring rolls and Thai tea. We waited 40 min for the spring rolls. The spring rolls were severely over cooked. Thai tea was delicious. We ordered the veggie stir fry with chicken and the pad Thai with chicken. My husbands veggies were very obviously wilted and really really salty. My pad Thai was ok just lacked flavor. I kept adding chili oil and lime and it helped. In the span of the hour we waited for our food they had 3 seperate instances where they overcharged or double charged customers cards( definitely pay cash). The staff lacked attention we needed basic items like napkins and utensils. I am sad because the East needs more diverse cuisines but right now I wouldn’t recommend. Hopefully they listen to the feedback from their customers.

Thai Sol is now where an old sushi restaurant used to be. They kept most of the sushi restaurant decorations including the fish lanterns.

We had to wait to be seated because staff was trying to resolve incorrect billing issues all night.

We got two Thai teas, which were pretty good. Next were the spring rolls, which we had to wait for 45 minutes. The spring rolls were filled with overcooked noodles and... that's it. :(
I got the Stir Fried vegetables and added chicken. It had very little chicken, what was there was overcooked. The veggies were extremely salty. My wife got the Pad Thai. The noodles were okay, but lacked flavor. My wife added chili oil and lemon in an effort to add more flavor.

I am in no way trying to be mean, or to bring down this family business. I hope they have the opportunity to listen to feedback and adjust as necessary. I am hopeful. I am excited to come back when they've ironed out some little improvements as they are still very new.

I placed an order ‘ to go at the restaurant. They told me it was going to be a 30 min wait which I understand. We ordered spring rolls, pad see ew, and pad Thai. The spring rolls were salty. Pad see ew was lacking the subtle sweetness and it barely had any broccoli. It was mostly noodles. Not much chicken. The pad Thai was mushy with huge chunks of green onion. I don’t know why it’s difficult to make good food in El Paso. Maybe because it’s difficult to get certain ingredients but this didn’t taste anything like authentic Thai food and I’ve eaten at so many Thai restaurants across the country. It’s not worth the cost.

Where is we were excited to try this new restaurant and we waited for an hour and a half for our takeout. We saw the food look very delicious at the restaurant but once we got home, the food was the noodles were all dry and sticky. The waitress even forgot one of our pad Thai. Was very disappointed at the quality of the food when we got home for the price and the amount of serving, it was more at the restaurant. I suggest they get new containers because I think these cardboard containers absorb all the juices of the noodles and they make them dry and mushy I would appreciate if the owner could even try to call or suggest me to give me that pad Thai . I just miss California Thai food and nobody in Texas could make it like them.

I ordered a hundred dollars worth of food. Ordered ahead over the phone for pick up still waited 30 min for my food. Upon arriving the time they said my food would be ready it was not. Two words TARA THAI. I would make that drive from Eastlake to Mesa St every time.

We were excited for a new authentic Thai spot on the east side. Sadly it was not as advertised.
Food - we started with the corn fritters. They were good but not Thai and unfortunately served with store bought sweet ‘n sour chili sauce. Luckily the they were tasty enough without the sauce. We ordered the green curry and the Thai wings. We ordered an appetizer as an entree because they up-charge to downgrade from chicken/beef to tofu. Lame. I didnt feel like paying $20 for soup. The curry was good but tasted store bought. The Thai wings were okay but not Thai. They were regular drums and flats served dry with a dash of lemon pepper and sauce on the side. The “Thai sauce” was the sweet n sour sauce yet again. Side note: every Thai restaurant I’ve visited has asked for spice levels. Thai Sol does not. Maybe because all they have is that pitiful chili sauce?
Service - we had asked for the wings to come out with the curry as an entree but it was sent out before anyway. We sat in an awkward silence, looking at the wings for 10 mins while waiting for the curry.
Atmosphere - The restaurant is in a strip mall and gives food court vibes. For being a fairly new strip mall, the parking is scarce.
Its a disrespect to the culture when places say they’re authentic but then use store bought junk to cut corners. I hope the owners take note and if authentic Thai cuisine is what you advertise, then follow through - craft your food and honor Thai cuisine. The food wasn’t terrible but certainly not authentic or worth coming back for. It was also disappointing to see a post about drunken noodles on their Insta page only to find out it wouldn’t be on the menu until Feb.

Vegetarian options: You have to pay extra for tofu vs animal protein. Lame.

Tried it out and the food was really good! It is definitely worth your time however the only “bad” thing is that the service was slow not bad just slow. It is a small business so I understand that there are only two people making the food. When I went through the reviews I didn’t see anyone talk about it.

- food great
- service slow but when she did help she was very nice and professional 🤍
- price more on the expensive side

Parking: Couldn’t park in front of restaurant, I had to park across the street due to three spaces in front. Not bad just something to know

My wife and I went there hoping to find a hidden gem for Thai food here in EP (have yet to find a good Thai place here). We were very disappointed in the quality of food. Chicken wings looked like random pieces chicken (very small) and not flavorful at all. My wife had the tofu curry which was very watery and lacked flavor. We also ordered noodles and chicken for my son and they were the $0.25 ramen noodles you get from the grocery store. Undercooked and just basic looking. My kid could have cooked it and made it taste better. This restaurant definitely needs some work if they want to stay in business!

I’m so grateful for a new Thai place in El Paso, it was needed. The owner and atmosphere is great. The food also tastes perfectly yummy. However, in my opinion, there is a problem with takeout portions. I have ordered multiple times now and the portions for the noodle dishes are abysmal. If I am paying $15 for shrimp Pad Thai I would like a bigger portion, especially knowing the price of noodles. I’m sure it’s better if you dine in though. Also they have the best Thai Tea in El Paso by far!!

Would give 5 stars but my pad thai noddles were so overcooked it was just a giant brick it was almost like eating a ball of dough smh but other than that everything was good. Hopefully next time the pad thai is cooked right
