On a recent work trip to El Paso, I was in charge of looking for places to eat and convinced my colleagues to come here because the photos looked good and it was healthy-ish. Upon arrival, we were skeptical because the café is right off the freeway and somewhat dingy looking. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly but looked like he had waaay too much caffeine and was about to bounce off the walls. We watched as he was making sandwiches for a few customers who were there before us, sprinkling chopped up deli meat from plastic Tupperware onto the slices of bread grilling on the George Foreman grill, feeling even more skeptical. But since we were in the shop, we were already committed. Our orders took a long time, approx. 30-45 mins. It could be because of the influx of customers aka us. There was about 10 of us. I got a turkey sandwich on pumpernickel with all the condiments (jalapenos, red onions, mustard and mayo). Sandwiches come with a whole salt and peppered seasoned avocado (which by the way, is delicious), a spicy avocado sauce, and Kettle chips. To our surprise, the food exceeded our expectations, filled us up, and was under $10. Long story short, give this place a shot! It's worth the avocado!

Hidden gem in El Paso. Try the onion bagel sandwich, it's delicious. Oh, and make sure to go early, since they may run out of avocados!

I had the best avocado toast in my life from avocado cafe. Even more amazing it's only 3 dollars. The avocado is ripe and there is just the right amount of onions and jalapeños with salt and pepper. Awesome place.

I had a medical appointment in El Paso and talked a friend into going with me - we live in Albuquerque ! I checked Yelp for a good lunch place and Avocados Café came up with 5stars!! Wow! It did MOT disappoint!!! Great food! Great teas and specialty tea drinks! And decent price point! The owner was the chef and everything was custom made with fresh delicious ingredients!! A beautiful whole sliced avocado comes as a side to every sandwich along with a house spicy tomatillo avocado dressing/dip on the side! Owner very pleasant and welcoming!! The space is quaint & small, but cozy! Highly recommend this for a fun out!

Great food and price, but it may not be super fast, I'll definitely be back!

What a special find! Hope this place lasts a long while. Quality food, friendly service, clean organized space, fair prices, lots of options (coffee flavors, lattes, frappes, sandwiches, avocado toast...)

very cute and cozy place. fun games. exceptionally yummy food and coffee drinks, complete with enthusiastic, friendly, and ready to please service. and SUCH good prices. this has been the most pleasant and reasonably priced cafe expirience I have had in quite some time! my only note is they could have been a tad more conscious of unnecessary use of single use plastic. maybe they could ask consumers if they want utensils or straws before giving them out. you know what they say, the less plastic in the ocean the better!

This little cafe is so quaint! The owners are incredibly nice and had recommendations for me. There's not much seating (think 3 tables total) so it's not great for studying and gets busy during lunch, but the food and coffee was amazing and you can call ahead! I ordered the turkey sandwich on rye and pumpernickel and it was delicious, especially with the jalapeno avocado salsa! Every ingredient was fresh and picked up that morning. I was surprised that it came with an entire avocado lol and frankly didn't have enough sandwich to avocado ratio. Maybe in the future they will cut down to half an avocado, because I felt guilty wasting half. A true crime, I know. The coffee and tea selection is also huge! They recommended the coconut cream pie latte and it was so good!! Will definitely be coming back!

A tiny hole in the wall, almost no seating, the food takes a while and it's totally worth it. I like the art, the vegetarian options are great! Get everything on your sandwich and be happy. Sooo good!

Great place. This is really great place. Food is yummy. The avocados are like gifts from the heavens. I feel as if Zeus himself descended from Mount Olympus and served me food from his divine kitchen.

Fresh, ripe avocado every day. Once it runs out, that's it. The guy here goes out to buy them every morning for the day. So you know your avocado will be perfect. The sandwiches have a good variety, and is served with a salt/peppered avocado, avocado sauce, and a side of chips. The spicy avocado sauce is beyond delicious! I also want to recommend the MATCHACADO. It's a matcha-avocado drink with a hint of coconut, served with a straw covered with chocolate on the inside. I skip the chocolate to taste the drink by itself, so matter of preference. One down side to this place is that there is no internet. So be prepared to connect to another source (TWC or another).
