I like this place. Been going for a while before it became what it is now. Went by yesterday. They did well for being shot handed. I ordered the short rib and it was good. It wasn’t a lot of food for the price. They also included the rib bone. The big winner was the bass. That’s one we also ordered that was a good dish. The mac and cheese was probably the best I ever had. Recommend. Seems like they are working out the kinks but I will go back.

Oak & Tavern never disappoints. Great food, solid drinks, and a chill but classy vibe. Service is always on point and the whole place just feels right whether it’s date night or hanging with friends. One of my go-to spots in El Paso. Highly recommend!

Great spot with a lively atmosphere! The vibe here is perfect for catching up with friends or just relaxing with some drinks. We tried a few different menu items during our visit. The pork chop and braised ribs were big hits with our group—our friends couldn’t stop raving about them!
We also ordered the fried chicken, which was super crunchy, but we found it a bit lacking in flavor. On the bright side, the sides were delicious, especially the mac n cheese, French fries, and crispy Brussels sprouts.
Overall, I’d definitely come back to try more dishes and see what else the menu has to offer. If you’re planning a visit, I recommend making a reservation since it gets pretty busy in the evening!

One of the best fine dining experiences in El Paso. The service was outstanding and the food is delicious. We had the pork chop, fish and chips and peach cobbler. We went on a really busy weekend, we did not have reservations but were able to sit at the bar which are the best seats! The bartenders were amazing and so charismatic and knowledgeable. All around great dining experience!

Food, service, atmosphere, Friday music are all excellent.
And the server, Kevin, gave us an unforgettable experience. My wife just graduated. The whole restaurant staff wrote her a card to congratulate her. How thoughtful!

We went to Oak and Antler after our annual Christmas party. We wanted a couple of cocktails. It did not disappoint. We had two great bartenders attend to us. I’m sorry to say we didn’t get the young lady’s name who made a great Manhattan and a great Lavender Sundress. Our other bartender was
Anthony. He was also very good. He knew so much about cocktails and actually schooled an old couple as to how to approach new drinks!! So grateful to Anthony. We learned so much from him!! Thank you Anthony We will definitely be back.
We went here to celebrate our anniversary and i was pleasantly surprised small menu but delicious i got the double cut pork chop and my husband got the braised short ribs, also shared the brussel sprouts, all was really good also loved they deviled eggs. For drinks we got an old fashioned and i got the lavender drink. Our waitress edith recommended a wine for my pork chop and it was a great pairing. Everything was amazing edith hooked us up with dessert and prosecco and we got a lovely card wishing us happy anniversary. Only complain i have music too loud to talk but is a bar so is all good.i will definitely come back here i want to try the rest of the menu.

What a downtown gem! Awesome vibe, great service and amazing food.
The owner is super cool and laid back. He strolls around with a glass of wine talking to everyone, ensuring they are enjoying themselves and taking time to get to know you.
The chef comes out when time allows and checks in on the food at your table.
Owners son works behind the bar and makes some amazing drinks!!
The food? Wow! We had deviled eggs for an appetizer and humus dip with pita.
Fried chicken was my dinner of choice and WOW was it amazing. I will be dreaming about that chicken until I go back!!! Sides are shareable and we got the mac n cheese and Brussels sprouts. Both top notch!
