My favorite sushi in El paso. I live all the way on zaragosa, so when im on the west I would love to get the chance and order a sushi roll but that is not possible if workers don’t even answer the phone!!😵💫😵💫😵💫 I called around 5 times or more and all the time “busy”😭😭 tried to place my order online and I was not able to do so on non of the pages.🥹😭. This was last sunday

This place serves both sushi and wings—which should’ve been my first clue. It's very Americanized and just... mediocre. Nothing outright bad, but nothing memorable either.
What really rubbed me the wrong way was the pricing. We ordered one of their sushi boxes, and when we asked about what was included, the waitress didn’t mention that certain rolls come with upcharges—and the menu didn’t make that clear either. Only when the bill came did we see extra fees for a couple of rolls. That kind of upselling—without being upfront—feels sneaky and left a bad taste in my mouth no pun intended. You don’t actually save any money by getting a box, which defeats the whole purpose.
Also, the food took a while to come out. To be fair, we did have a large order—but even so, the wait didn’t feel worth it given the quality.
We won’t be back.

Says they don’t close until 9, then when I try and place an order at 7:30pm then again at 8pm then go in person at 8:30pm after being denied service 3 times they say they are “sold out” Would not recommend relying on them for services after 6pm or 7pm though it says they close at 8pm Sunday-Thursday and 9pm Friday and saturday.

I was shocked and deeply disappointed when The Munchie Box refused to serve me and my family in the restaurant because I had my service dog with me. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), it is illegal to deny service to a person with a disability because of their service animal. My service dog is trained to assist me with my medical condition, and I explained that clearly. Still, I was told I had to leave. This kind of treatment is not just disrespectful—it's discriminatory and against federal law. No one with a disability should be made to feel ashamed or unwelcome simply for needing support. Because of this, I have officially filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division against The Munchie Box. My family still wanted to try the food, so we placed an order for pickup instead. Unfortunately, the food we received was cold and below normal standards. So not only was the treatment discriminatory and unlawful, but the food did not justify giving this place any support. I strongly urge this business to educate its staff and management on ADA compliance and disability rights. No one should be treated this way.
This experience was disappointing on every level. Until they take responsibility and make changes, I do not recommend this restaurant—especially to anyone in the disabled community or those who value basic respect and lawful treatment.

Best sushi quality in El Paso and great value- prices are fair and the flavors and options are amazing. Love the concept of the boxes and that they do delivery. Dined in today, dining room is small but comfortable, server was super sweet and helpful! The fish is fresh, and so excited to try more items on the menu.
