Not great whatsoever . If you think these tortas are good , you have no good taste in food . Sorry not sorry . We still tipped beforehand and got a torta drenched in mayo after we specified NO MAYOOOO ! My bf hates it . But he still took bites because he felt bad taking the food back . Not cool . They need to be more attentive to stuff like that !! Allergies ECT ECT . I give this place a 4/10.

Just had the most incredible torta in El Paso, and I can't wait to tell you all about it! So, I was hanging out in the Lower Valley area, busy planning the Asian Night Market at Economy Wholesale, when hunger struck me big time. I walked into Torta Davi's and ordered their bistek torta (steak). Now, here's the thing - the whole menu was in Spanish, which got me a bit confused. But thankfully, my trusty Google Translate lens came to the rescue, helping me figure out what was available. I decided to go with the steak torta because I knew it would fill me up. Little did I know just how filling it would be, as this thing was massive! For around $7, you get a light and crispy torta roll that's generously stuffed with steak, a tasty smear of mayo and avocado, and some lettuce for a touch of freshness. Let me tell you, it was a meat lover's dream! They didn't hold back on the fillings at all. Oh, and as a bonus, it even came with a seasoned jalapeno on the side. Talk about adding a little kick to the whole experience! The steak itself was incredibly flavorful. I've noticed that Mexicans really know how to char their meat to perfection, and I absolutely love it. The thinly sliced steak had those smoky charred bits with caramelized sugars that added a delightful touch. And thanks to the avocado and mayo, it stayed moist and juicy. This torta was seriously a sandwich masterpiece, and getting all that meat for just $7 was an amazing deal. I also tried their aqua fresca, which was decent, but here's a heads up - they do add a credit card fee, so keep that in mind. As for Torta Davi's, I'm not entirely sure if it's a Mexican chain or a franchise, but it definitely has that franchised look. If it happens to be a franchise, I really hope they consider opening up closer to the west side because I'd love to try more of their offerings.
