This review is purely for my specific dish I had tonight. I was hopeful since they are rated so highly that they would finally have the carbonara I've been searching for, as they use actual pancetta, but sadly theirs was probably the worst I've had in America so far. The main issue is the extreme amount of cream used in the carbonara, a dish which traditionally uses no cream. It literally was a soup. The sauce was so runny it couldn't even stick to the pasta. Please consider using 1/4 of the amount of cream or preferably no cream, or remove this item from the menu/change its name. That was an insult to Italian carbonara, something I am very passionate about.

I have traveled around the country for a great Veal Parm and Trattoria Bella Sera wins it thus far. The portion, taste, price, and originality astounded me; the portion will feed you for more than a day. The caprese salad is absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful. Shout-out to Alison for her great, affable service and attention. Please make sure you have dinner at the best Italian restaurant in El Paso!!

I highly recommend this restaurant for truly great Italian food in El Paso.
For appetizers, the savory sausage bites were perfectly spicy and delicious, and the calamari was crisp, tasty, and paired wonderfully with the dipping sauce. Even the warm bread is delish, especially with the roasted garlic in olive oil.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Pollo Florentina with panna crema sauce; it was light yet full of rich, comforting flavor. Our family also loved the Pollo Parmigiana, spaghetti in spicy marinara, and Salmone alla Diavola. My husband couldn’t stop raving about the Farfalle Bella Sera—he said it was outstanding.
Our server was fantastic—fast, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He recommended the Sangue di Giuda sparkling red wine, which was refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. Thanks to that suggestion, I now have a new favorite wine!
Overall, a wonderful meal with excellent service. We can’t wait to come back!

Work partner and I went here for lunch. Great experience. I had spaghetti with Italian sausage, a cup of soup (pasta e fagioli) and a drink for $13. Our server was great and attentive. The bread and garlic dipping oil was awesome.
