Since David doesn’t work the food is not the same!!! The sushi roll completely bad the break apart you can tell not done right. David was great at what he does. They don’t answer the phone to place order. You go in it took a little more than 30 min to get 2 sushi rolls. Tables are dirty form past dinners. I love sushi at this point I rather go to Albertsons across the street.

Excellent food and service. Found them on Door Dash and had to make an in-person visit. They didn't disappoint! All the food we ate was delicious. And you should definitely try their El Paso roll. Superb! ???
Looked cute so we are excited to try. We came in and waited a waitress said she would clean a table for us. Then a few min later came to us and said there would be a 45 min wait for food. That there were a lot of online orders and she just took all the other tables orders. Yet as we turned to leave she waved to 3 other people just coming through the door and said she had their table ready... the same one "she would clean off for us". Can't say anything about the food but definitely the whole experience left a terrible taste in our mouths. Won't be back for sure. I'd give 0 stars if possible.

Been coming to this place a couple of times since being here for 3 years! I enjoy coming to this restaurant. The staff is knowledgeable on their menu and food. The staff makes good customer recommendations as far as taste and what they are wanting. Clean and quiet environment. Wish they offer a garden salad with ginger dressing. Overall a great place with a good selection.

The best little sushi joint in the Northeast, in my opinion.Recommended: The Las Vegas roll, The Philly Roll, and spicy salmon anything.

The reviews are kinda misleading. Usually it's not that deep but this was crazy. The water tasted like El paso tap. The beef udon was way to sweet. I'm choosing a different spot next time.Parking: At least the parking was okay.
The lead chef, David takes pride in his work and it shows. Attention to detail and the ability to improvise when out of some ingredients made for a great first experience. So good in fact, we went back for a second time just yesterday. A different roller this time and he did a very nice job as well. The service staff was super friendly both times. We like to sit at the bar for the up close and personal with all the fresh ingredients experience. Being new to El Paso, it was a little off putting at first that the restaurant was empty or nearly empty each time. But learning that they do a bunch of Togo orders and maybe that is how El Paso rolls with sushi. Over all, great food, friendly service, we likely will make this a frequent stop on our eating out nights.

Ask for the vegan sushi roll! It isn’t on the menu but it’s phenomenal! Yummy food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: They have a great vegan sushi roll that isn’t on the menu - just ask for it! Fried sweet potato, cucumber and avocado inside. Fried zucchini on top with vegan “eel” sauce.

Food; 10/10 was excellent temperature and taste from the sushi to the teriyaki steak bowl, which my husband order. the lunch deal which they have daily, from 11am to 3pm. It includes sushi and boxes from the first picture. Lots of food included in the boxes, my daughter couldn't even finish it and we had to take it to go. They were out of short ribs which was a disappointment, she loved the salmon in the end though. Service; 9/10 Waiter was very nice and helpful with my questions about the rolls and kitchen items they had. Helped us right away with drinks and amazing soup they have, which is complementary when dining in, the waitress let us know. We also ordered a few more rolls in the end which we didn't even finished and had to take home. They have excellent deep fried selections as well. Ambiance; We arrived at 2:00pm and it was nice and quiet, they had music playing and a welcoming atmosphere. The workers were talkative and friendly. Me and my family enjoyed the experience with no regrets eating here at all.

New server was cute. Nice place, clean. The food was phenomenal. I am vegetarian, so I am picky about veggie food...this place was amazing. I do believe that I ate some eel sauce in there somewhere, but I tend to sometimes eat seafood sauces so I am ok with that. If you are stricter, ask for them to not use it. I had the terrific Seaweed salad, served in a wine glass, love that! Then I had the Veggie Sushi. OMG...it had deep fried sweet potato crust on top. So very, very yum. I am just waiting for a Groupon to make this place perfect!! Keep it up Tsunami Sushi, my new favorite place to eat that is less than a mile from me.
