This place was average to subpar across the board. They got us seated quickly, but then we waited almost 10 minutes for a server...after listening to two of them having a loud, profanity-filled argument. The food made me wish that I'd just gone home and cooked after a long day of work and last minute Christmas shopping. Village Inn has been on the decline for years and this just confirmed it. Even their pies aren't as awesome as they used to be.

The price is ok but the service is very poor. Almost every waitress I could see was trying to avoid customer service. There are many options around aiway where you can get just as good and even better breakfast than this place. I used to like the place and used to be an easy pick for a good breakfast, not any more.

This last time I went to lunch I definitely didn't like it. The waitresses do not serve well and others are in a bad mood. Besides, lunch was served cold. I'm not going back to that place anymore.

I went on 11/30/2024, Great service…. BUT…. I always get the Menudo, especially on the weekend, I know it’s all you can eat, but each serving had very few pieces of tripe and very few pieces of hominy. It was all soup!!!! I got like four servings, but each time was ridiculously chintzy! I know it’s not our server’s fault, it’s the people in the back who prep. Do they not have a ladle to use!? I was really disappointed.
What happened Village Inn?! I’ve been living out of state the past 11 years & there’s no VI in my state. I grew up in El Paso & VI was always the best breakfast. Now you guys hire people that are not up to standard, service was not good at all & what happened to your food?!!! And the one thing that irked me was the fact that you no longer have blackberry syrup for the pancakes, that was a staple! Please improve your food & service at least.
