Really enjoyed my visit to Buttersmith Kitchen & Pies. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and there are lots of great options on the menu.

I ordered via GrubHub about four days ago. Club Sandwich was fine, but seemed to be made using sandwich bread from Walmart. Come on! Anyone can get Pan Bimbo. Up your game a little with sourdough or a whole grain. Also ordered chips n queso. The “queso” in the styrofoam cup was a solid brick…pic attached.

Everything was perfect. I was a little hesitant because the last time I went to a Buttersmith for breakfast it was like walking into a bar, with music blasting and people talking at the top of their lungs. Today was the opposite. Enjoyed the service, the meal and atmosphere.

This restaurant is something that is nearly gone in America. The ability to sit down to good service and have a slice of pie and a cup of coffee is a rare luxury. The service was great on a weeknight at 7:30 and the pie/ coffee was spot on. Many types of pies to choose from and some seasonal specialties. Slow down, put the cell phone away and enjoy some time with your family or friends over a piece of pie here.

Try the enchiladas with the sour cream green chili sauce and over-easy eggs. Delicious!! We stopped there before hopping onto I10 towards the airport. Very convenient. Every employee smiled and provided excellent customer service. I love their black shirts and jeans uniforms!
