VITOLA'S Cigars & Whiskey #Downtown

I am in El Paso Texas on business and came downtown for a quick coffee in San Jacinto Plaza on a recommendation from a woman at my hotel. After I had my coffee I serendipitously ran into a guy on the street and we immediately hit it off. He was from out of town as well and was trying to find this cigar bar so I joined him. The place was great with a great variety of cigars and whiskeys. We stayed for a few hours and one of the owners Mia was amazing. She was one of the coolest people I've ever met in my life and she really knows how to treat customers. The three of us had some laughs and great conversation. I don't even smoke cigars normally so I was able to donate a cigar to the Troops since they have a one cigar minimum three nights of the week because they are normally slammed those days. I think that's more than reasonable and I was really happy to find out I could donate my cigar to the Troops rather than smoke it. If you are into cigars and whiskey and find yourself in El Paso, please stop in you will not regret it.

I wish I could give them fewer stars. I’ve been there twice, and both times I didn't get any help. The first time, I got there 30 minutes before closing, and the lady just said no with an attitude after doing last call. Didn't even try to sell me a cigar or anything. Then I went again, and no one wanted to talk. It felt like I was in a library walking around trying to get their attention, but no luck. They just acted like if they ignored me, I’d disappear, which I guess I did. Total waste of time.

They have the most delicious cigars. The staff is always kind and attentive. The last time I was here, I was amazed by how quickly they served me the drinks I ordered. This will always be one of my favorite spots.

Came in this evening for a few sticks. Im fairly new to the world of cigars. Fernando (i believe was his name) was kind enough to just talk cigars with me and bestow some knowledge. Gave me recommendations based on what I know I like and was super helpful.

Violation has a wide variety of cigars to choose from. The young staff person i talked to was very knowledgeable about cigars. I loved the atmosphere and location.

Down to earth Cigar and Bourbon spot. Enough seats for our big party. Service was excellent. Reservations were easy to make and the prices were solid. We had a great time! Must visit!
