West Texas Chophouse

Was there to celebrate an anniversary. Terrible service. She was as slow as a sloth. Waitress forgot the cocktail to begin with... “oh what did you order”. She was slow without a care in the world. Food was trash to say the least. Steak so bad it needed A1. Ordered the family meal and every item was cold. Hair on the plate of lemons. All the sides were nothing but spicy to cover the lack of flavor. Manager gave a military discount as his solution, without asking if we were military and a 10% discount on the next visit. Point blank told him we're never going back. I do not recommend this place at all. Complete disappointment considering who owns it. Truly disgusted with the entire experience.

It's was second time here and everything was amazing . Our server did a very good job and kept us updated on our order. Very polite and always asked if we needed anything. The restaurant was very nice. 5 stars

Asked for plain mashed potatoes got baked potatoe with butter, asked for baked potatoe with sour cream, cheese and bacon got baked potatoe with butter. Asked for filet to be medium and it was rare still cool in center. However, the food we got was excellent.

The food was delicious. Our waiter Joshua was amazing. He made sure everything was fine and that we didn’t need anything. He provided outstanding service!

Every time we go in we are provided with excellent food, drinks and service. Ashley the bartender is friendly, always smiling and gives great recommendations!!!

Great service from Joshua and amazing steaks

We visited this place with a friend from Idaho. We were excited to try the place because we’ve heard so many good things!
Let me be clear that I should have ordered the filet mignon. But the waitress convinced me their chilaquiles were to die for! So because the chilaquiles advertised on their brunch menu looked different from the traditional style, I decided to give them a try. I wish I had taken a picture of what was served because it was nothing like the picture. I will attach a screen shot of what is advertised. What I received was a slop of tostadas with chile. Which is what chilaquiles usually are and the reason why I usually stay away from them. Completely different from the advertised. I was disappointed. The other dishes looked to be tasty and we really enjoyed the sautéed mushrooms.
Service was extremely slow considering the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. We never saw a refill on our drinks and our food took extremely long to come out. Again, we were some of the few people there. Overall the experience was about a 3.5. Will not return anytime soon.

In the picture I attached, chilaquiles are the bottom right dish. False advertisement.
