Not too crowded. Perfect for dancing! Decently sized dance floor and it’s never too crowded to where you can’t dance. I loved it!

Worst bar ever I feel like with week by week the bar gets worst and worst. Security doesn’t know how to check people because I saw some with a knife in their pocket. Plus the bartender cut me off after just getting an ultra and a rumps shot because I seem to drunk. I didn’t want to cause a problem so I was just like whatever. It wasn’t until I saw a guy with glasses I’m guessing his the manager helping out at the door. At first I thought it was cool until after that I saw walk away and stated to talk to people thinking there was going to be a fight or something but it wasn’t. I’m thinking a friend because I saw him walk behind the bar and get some shot and take them to the group. I was just amazed that I couldn’t get a drink again but it was ok for the manager to get a group of people some shot which I saw him do it at least 5 times during the night.

This is the most lame bar ever! My first time going there and we got denied entrance because someone in my party did not have a required attire. It is understandable that the dress code has to be followed and rules are rules but his attire did not reflect any profanity or was not insulting for anyone. He was dressed with a dress shirt and dress shorts. Something about his shorts not having the belt loops was said but the guy at the entrance did not specify why. At some point it made us believe discriminated because that person is gay. The guy at the entrance his attitude came off as discriminating. Therefore, don’t think I will ever step foot in an overcrowded bar with rude staff. There’s better bars out there, save your time and money.

Got kicked out for not knowing how to dance, they said we were drunk but we don’t drink at all. Don’t go if you can’t dance. They will rob you and blame it on drunkness.

My husband, some friends, and myself visited Whiskey Dick’s this past Sunday because we saw on Instagram they would open for Labor Day. Even though this place is our favorite bar to hang out and two step, the environment and the vibes were both great despite the fact that they didn’t have a DJ onsite. The playlist they used had a little of everything and everyone was dancing and having fun. Also, The bartenders, Kendall and Alexis, were very patient with everyone, pushed out drinks as quickly as possible, and still delivered a great service even though it was the only bar being used that night. Furthermore, the manager, Q, helped out the bartenders by restocking liquor, beers, ice, cups, you name it. He also helped push out drinks for customers and even delivered a tray of shots for a customer to his table. Safe to say I was pleased with the great teamwork and service this team provided during this spontaneous opening for the holiday. Shout out to them!!

I’ve been a regular here for 7 years, and never once had an issue until now, under the new management. What happened to my family last night was absolutely disgusting and beyond unprofessional.

Security harassed my mom while she was simply holding the restroom door for my sick friend. They shined lights in her face, got aggressive, and even punched my friend Susie when she stepped in to defend her. Then they kicked out my entire family for no valid reason.
Again they threw the first punch. Not only was humiliating but completely unacceptable because we did nothing wrong.
To make it worse, my friends even lost their jobs over this incident, simply for being associated with us. After years of loyalty, this was humiliating, unsafe, and completely unnecessary.

This place used to feel like home, but the new management has ruined it. Loyal customers and decent people don’t deserve to be treated this way. If I could leave negative stars for this new management I would.

If you're looking for a fun, laid-back spot with a great vibe, Whiskey Dick’s Country Bar is the place to be. The atmosphere is friendly, upbeat, and full of good energy—perfect for a night out with friends or just kicking back after a long week.

The staff is on point, quick, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. But what really sets this place apart is Ruby. Hands down, she’s the best bartender in the city. Not only does she move with lightning speed behind the bar, but she’s also incredibly friendly and always serves with a smile. Her drink creations are both unique and delicious—she brings serious creativity to the menu and makes every visit feel personalized.

Ruby alone is worth the trip, but combined with the great service and positive energy, Whiskey Dick’s is easily one of my favorite bars in town!
