Cozy little place I order here on Uber eats a lot And I like to sit down and eat here too. The food is really delicious. I love the pho and spicy beef stew. I also really like their tofu specifically the sesame tofu. I always eat their soup when I'm feeling sick. Of all the restaurants in Elgin, this is the one I've eaten at the most.

This place has the best fry rice I've ever had. It's always perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The portions are huge, so I always have leftovers. Plus, the price is super reasonable. Definitely check them out if you're craving some good Chinese food.

Walked in and sat down wherever we wanted. Had a waitress come over immediately to take our order. The soup we ordered came out immediately, and our dinner meal came out very shortly thereafter! On top of the great service, price and quality of our meals, 1 of our meals were enough for 2 meals!! I would suggest Hong Kong Restaurant to anyone looking for really good food for a really good price.

Food was a 2/10 I wish I had known they were going to play with my money like this I would’ve never went out and got this.it was supposed to egg foo yun and well all I got was a blob of food and on the side wet won ton chips and the fried rice seemed old I don’t know what happened but I expected better especially since family and neighbors said it was good…Now I just want my damn money back😭

The lomein tasted rubbery and had a horrible after taste like musky perfume (my daughters agreed) .. the sesame beef had a very generic taste and the beef itself was gamey tasting l. Staff did nothing to fix this or make the experience better,j ust told me it was fresh and that was that .. I have never paid so much for horrible food . Never again .. I'll stick to fast food when visiting Elgin .. also I am not a picky person and hardly ever complain .. please learn how to accept criticism without making faces ..thanks

Ordered spring rolls and pho, not sure what the soup is but it doesn’t taste like pho, it’s super greasy and the meat and chicken is questionable. The spring rolls is literally just lettuce and noodles and 2 nasty shrimp pieces. Disgusting. Don’t waste your money

I been coming here for 2 years. My last 3 orders have not been correct. I ordered shrimp Pho and it came without the veggies. They tried to say it was because it was a small pho. But I've never been told that at a pho restaurant before. When I called them they acted like I didn't understand the menu. I will never come back to this restaurant again.
