I waited two weeks before going. Cravings and reading recent bad reviews, plus it was so far away. I finally decided to go on my day off and give it a shot. I drove the 30 miles. The service was fine. The lady was very friendly. But when I placed my order fish & shrimp platter with fries and coleslaw. They were out of fries! WHAT! & WHY!? One of your most popular sides and your co-resturant (KFC)serves fries. Why in the world would you be out without an explanation? Doesn't...
Was helped quickly but had to wait for my food for like 30 mins. The food was tasty once we got it but wasnt the best and the crucnhy chicken wasnt even really crumchy it was more soft than anything.
Guy at the counter it was last Saturday around 7 I ordered the feast with 2 fish 6 shrimp . He was so nice offered me condolences for my brother passing away . And it was fast maybe 30 seconds kinda felt like ok the food is gonna be cold but no It was piping hot and fresh some of the best long John's I have had in years I'm near 40 long John's was big in the 90s and this tasted like it did then. Whatever this new staff is doing keep it up.
