Where to start… We ordered 5 popcorn chicken meals and a kids meal. I understand it takes time to make the food and get it out. No complaint there. But when I finally got my food and checked it, I was missing 3 tater tot sides, the entire kids meal, and one drink. I also only got 1 barbecue sauce for all 5 popcorn chicken meals. When I asked the girl for more she said she would have to charge. Charge for what? I ordered 5 meals. We should at minimum get 2 sauces for each. Then she says oh, well I can get them for you since you’re missing food. Yeah, okay. I wouldn’t mind paying if I had more than enough sauces. Do better.

As I worked at sonic before I know times can be hectic, but there’s no excuse for me waiting for 15+ minutes for my food, then for my order to be wrong and cold. I would hope we would take this as a lesson to learn. Thank you

Wait until they bring you your order before you pay! Ordered a coney, tots and a drink at the stall, waited 20 min, no food was brought out, so I left. There were only two other cars there, so they weren’t busy. I’m glad I didn’t pay with my card after I ordered otherwise I’d be stuck waiting 3-5 business days for my food.

Wow. You charge 10 cents per ketchup packet? I came and bought 4 full combo meals and I was told that I could only get 3 free ketchup packets. Not sure if this is location specific or company wide but that’s absolutely ridiculous. You’re in a town next to a pretty decent handful of other fast food places and rest assured I will go to one of those places next time. You can give out a sufficient amount of ketchup with the meal I ordered, you can lose my business. Too many other places around you that offer a decent handful of condiments when you pay for a meal. Ridiculous. Is this how you’re funding your concrete project? The entrance to this location is atrocious. Don’t even think about coming here in a car, you’ll cause damage.

I came to get 2 drink and I wait for 20 minutes for a drink so I call back in for refund to wait an additional 10 minutes for a receipt. Elgin does not have this much traffic mind you when I pulled in there was only 5 cars in the lot even I arrived and when I left just ridiculous

the food and service here is almost always great. Biggest issue - its awful getting TO sonic. The entrances have massive erosion/potholes and it gets worse every time it rains. I don't have a truck and my car bottoms out if I take the correct entrance

This location seems to be unable to read simple instructions on their tickets. Easy app order. Sandwich with no onions. Sandwich came with onions and no pickles. The manager was stuck on no pickles for some reason and wouldn't read the ticket. New Sandwich made...no onions no pickles. They also served sweet tea instead of unsweetened as the order said.
We ordered pretzels as well. The store had not updated their inventory so the app had no clue they were out. They completed our order on their end before telling us they were out and said it's on us to get a refund from the sonic app.
Also the drive in has HUGE pot holes.
No attention to details and combative when you point out mistakes. I won't be back.
That "Old Sonic" that we all have grown up with...is gone. Meth head staff with an attitude. It wasn't our fault that the card reader wasn't working. Menu had changed, burgers are smaller than ever, cold, tasteless, and cheap tasting, and overpriced. Sonic Fries are gone, now serving cheap, tasteless, soggy crinkle-cut "Groovy Fries". Typical corporation style menu changes, and it is SO sad to see now. At best, I'll only be stopping in for a soda in the future, from here on out. I did reach out to Sonic for a refund, and was granted such, but a week later, I have yet to see the $30 for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and two drinks, refunded back yet. Never again, for us. It's just tasteless gross.

I ordered a big red slushee, I know they’re able to make something like that bc I have ordered it successfully before… they decided that a cherry slush with the milkshake open tops would be an undetectable replacement for a soda slush combination. We’re not riding the short bus here and it doesn’t take a genius to taste the difference of cherry syrup and big red flavor :( if they weren’t able to make it saying so would’ve been ok and I could’ve changed my order!

First time trying sonic because my state doesn't have it. Got it deliver and My drink tasted like water and didn't come with a straw, I ordered a medium fry and the fry bag was less than halfway full and the fries were cold, and there was a long black hair in my burger
