rude don’t make drinks right and can’t fill them up

It’s the holiday season and you would think people would be in a good mood, first the cashier was umm ok I guess, I purchased a cup and didn’t asked if I wanted a bag so I asked for a bag, instead of placing the cup I. The bag she hands it to me, ok- so I bag it. At this point I’m the only customer inside, I’m waiting and waiting and waiting…someone else comes in and guess what they get their order before me, they sit down eat their pastry. I’m still waiting, sitting right in front trying to be patient. While everyone behind the counter is cracking jokes and laughing amongst each other and FINALLY I get my drink…I waited a good 15 minutes for a grande Chai Latte. Do better Starbucks.

I stopped for a drink here like I usually do and employee “Jena” was so rude I asked her about my drinks and she gave me an attitude.

The food and drinks are good but the employees are very rude and unprofessional and don’t recommend this Starbucks in Elgin I was treated so poorly and will never waste my money at this location or come to this location I don’t deserve the horrible customer service or poor treatment they’ve definitely lost a customer I’m too good for miserable rude mean employees who make Starbucks look bad.

On friday I made a mobile order I went to starbucks with 2 of my dogs and said I had an order in the drive thru. I was trying to add on 2 pup cups but he cut me off. I approached the window and I say “can I also get 2 pup cups” then he had the audacity to say “you know you can say it at the box right”.ITS LITERALLY A DOLLIP OF WHIPPED CREAM IN A CUP, IT ONLY TAKES HIM 2 SECONDS. Hes the worst worker there ever. I never got his name but hes blonde and wears glasses.

As someone who works remotely and has business meetings from here often, I’ve witnessed firsthand the dedication of the staff and management. They consistently greet everyone with a warm smile and deliver quality food and drinks.

Whether it’s remembering regulars’ names or providing quick, friendly service during busy hours, the team genuinely cares about creating a pleasant experience. Of course Elgin has the worst Starbucks ever. Always out of everything. They fill your cup to the brim with ice so there’s barely any liquid. Lucky if you get two sips. Just terrible. Don’t have any problems at any of the other Starbucks I frequent.
Came in to study and ordered 1 sandwich. I was told by the guy at the counter "it will be right out" then 20 minutes later after making multiple other sandwiches for drive though and walk up I still have yet to receive my sandwich. This is my first time here, and I will not be back. Terrible service. There are three people here including myself.
Update: The guy made my order and didn't even call it out. Just sat it on the counter 20 minutes late. Then he took a lunch and said nothing.

His friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly made my day. Highly recommend visiting Ronny for an outstanding coffee experience!

PLEASE turn down the music!!! I like to go to this location to work on school because it helps me to work outside of my house, and I have had to leave multiple times because the music was so loud that I couldn’t focus. I sit outside in the heat so that it’s quieter and put in earbuds that block out noise and it is still way too loud. A lot of people come here to work and be productive and it is so distracting to have Ariana Grande blasting when you’re trying to get things done. The staff here are amazing and always super friendly which is why I am giving a 4 star rating. I don’t like to be a Karen but I wanted to write a review because I love studying at Starbucks and I hate that I have to try so hard to ignore the music. I have ADHD and take meds that help me to hyperfocus and it’s still distracting with the noise cancelling earbuds, sitting outside and my meds.
