Very good service I ordered 2 chorizo and egg with bean tacos in less than five minutes my food came out nice and hot with a good amount of servings sizes of chorizo and cheese. The chorizo was cooked to perfection. After I finished the waiter took my plates and was very kind. I went to pay and I chatted with the cashier who was friendly and I paid and left. The amount of food you get for how much you pay is a good bargain. The restaurant is lit up on the inside with music adding to it's authentic ambiance.

Amazing food, never had something I didn't like from here. Agua Frescas are great, too!

You get the bang for your buck with the "sopes"! Love their breakfast- they serve amazing pancakes and after 11am too!

We walked in at 8:30pm on a Tuesday night and received kind service and really good food. The portions were generous with enough for leftovers.

I visit Azteca de Oro at least once a week. They are top rated by the Elgin Courier for best overall restaurant and best breakfast.

Disgusting food! Never eating here again. I'm Mexican and eat many Mexican foods, but I'm not even sure you can call this food! WARNING: REALLY Overpriced! I got very little food and my total was almost $100 dollars. Never again! Should've gotten McDonald's instead.

Still love this place! If we have been working on our farm all day, this is the go-to for a quick, delicious, breakfast lunch or dinner. Disappointing that someone would rate this place based on chicken nuggets and French fries get out of Austin and get some good Mexican food here!

The food was horrible ! The rice had a weird taste , the salsa was not tasty at all . My son order the chicken nuggets and they were over cooked , they were very hard and so were the fries. I do not recommend this place at all. (The working is horrible too)

We have been to So many Mexican joints, and sadly its been 9 years when I looked at my past review....and that's just way to long....we swung by to grab some break tacos....super friendly and got them out quick....Tacos were fat...Bacon, Egg and Cheese and Chorizo, Egg and Cheese....and the winner by far was the Bacon....The Chorizo lacked just that....Chorizo...most places we have been to (A ton) the grease is soaking thru the bag. Definitely want to hit them for lunch as we really enjoyed last time we were here.

I just had a crispy taco plate and a sweet tea, the taco plate was 12.50 which isn't bad but the sweet tea cost me $3.99! For sweet tea! My bill came out to $18 dollars for a very over priced meal! Couldn't believe they charged $3.99 for Tea!

I ordered a beef soup and they didn't cut the vegetables or even trim the fat off the beef.

This has been a consistent place that even late night (y'all know everything shuts down here early) offers great food at decent price.

First time at this family owned business. The service is fast and prompt. When entering the restaurant, you self seat yourselves. Inside have a few tables/chairs and booths. They give you complimentary chips and salsa along with refill of it. The salsa is not spicy but it does slowly creep up on you after a few bites if you are not use to spicy. The chips are fresh and homemade! It's super crispy and pretty delicious! We ordered, the carne gusada taco, beef fajitas taco, 3 beef enchiladas which comes with beans and rice, sopa, and barbacoa taco. The carne gusada taco was bomb and great! The meat was tender and just the perfect amount of sauciness to it. Perfectly seasoned and not salty. The beef fajitas taco comes with beans in it and it was a bit heavy on the salt. The sopa my friend had ordered, she liked along with the barbacoa. The enchiladas I had asked for beef fajitas enchiladas but the waitress had taken the order wrong because she was impatient. The beans were a bit on the watery side and the rice was good. Authentic Mexican food and I would come here again to try the different dishes offered.
