Have been stopping here over 20 years, since being a college student at UT. The perfect midway point & stop between Houston and Austin.
My favorite kolache is the pan sausage with Jalapeño & cheese.
Now that I drive an electric vehicle, I wish they offered fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. My company, Pangea Charging, would welcome the opportunity to help when ready to serve this growing customer base.

Such a kind and courteous staff, especially Javier! I was really tired today, had been driving since 4am from Louisiana, and because of that I didn’t notice the curb In front of my parking, space, and I got stuck. Javier Came up with a very creative solution to get my car, unstuck, and put a lot of effort and care into helping me. I really appreciate all the work you put into getting me unstuck. Javier is the best!

Excellent burgers! Wrap was good too. Got some prune kolaches for my elderly mom. She said they took her back to the first kolaches she ever had!
We always stop here for the kolaches and mini pecan pies—they’re the best! The bathrooms are also very clean and well maintained. A great place to stop while traveling through Texas—perfect for a quick bite or a bathroom break!
